the jedi temple has an extra storage of jedi robes because they get lost so quickly since jedi drop their robes for every minor dramatic flare possible

The Jedi AgriCorps sounds great, yet get's lots of negative comments.

Why is it depicted as the lesser work?

Building up communities, supporting those in need on a long-term basis, putting 1 on the line and living the live of the common people.

Sounds like the actual work the Jedi where supposed to do. Having a saber is nice but helping others to be self-reliant and empowered makes much more sense.
