dating Miles Morales goes something like this

Even though, you're technically not even dating. Batsis!reader X Miles Morales, you can read it like it's tied to my previous fic but this is somewhere further down the lineage. for @hmb-dom-4real

you and Miles met on a mission to get you back to your own dimension after some freak from LexCorp yeeted you to Earth 1610.

In the process of getting there, you both slowly got close, and post-mission, developed a wayyy better version of the Multiversal Gizmo to see Miles.

And here you are, the closest of friends six-months later, both of you stargazing near the quarry, a long way away from Brooklynn

"I'm glad you're here, Y/N" "Yeah I am pretty awesome" "Make a wish Miles." "Already made one"

He thought it was selfish to wish that you would like him back, but it's fiiineee.

You created a version of inter-dimensional contact so you and Miles could text and face time, he was really gutted when you left and he tried to text you and realised your number didn't exist on his world.

You and Miles share AirPods CONSTANTLY. Your head on his shoulder, his cheek resting on your hair, your playlists mixing together.

He lies on top of you during movie nights. Just full body weight. Dead sloth mode. And you don’t move because he’s warm and you’re obsessed.

Miles: “Am I heavy?” You: “Pshh as if your skinny ass is heavy. Shut up and stay still.”

• You spoil him SO BAD.

Not in a weird way — just “rich kid generosity.” He mentions liking a jacket? You buy it. He admires a pair of Jordan 4's for too long? Delivered tomorrow. He sees a benjamin moore art set? You buy the whole collection.

Miles: “Please stop—” You: “No.” Miles: “…okay but thank you.”

He pretends he’s fine with it. He is NOT. He blushes every time you hand him a gift

He draws you CONSTANTLY. Sometimes it’s soft sketches of your suit. Sometimes it’s your laugh. Sometimes it’s your hands. Once you catch him drawing your smile and he almost combusts.

“Is that me?” “NO— I MEAN— MAYBE— I MEAN— IT’S ART. AND ART IS SUBJECTIVE, SO LIKE-”

when you meet each other's families, it goes better than expected??

Dick loves Miles and his energy and they talk rather well, Jason didn't gaf he just offered him a pop tart, Tim likes him and the both of you peer-pressure him into meeting Tim's team.

And then there was Damian who acted like Miles was beneath him

and immediately switches up when he sees Miles' art

Damian: “Your sketches are… acceptable.” Miles: “…thank you?” You whisper, “That’s like a full declaration of love from him.”

And then there's Rio

OMG RIO??

Loves you immediately and has the behaviour of a grandma

"Eat more mija! <3" "YES CHEF"

You help wash dishes and she tears up

Jefferson honestly appreciates you 'cuz of your sass, he knows Miles' is in good hands.

And the cherry on top is that your both insanely affectionate with each other

Sitting on each other’s laps.

Miles sleeping on your chest.

You tracing his hands.

Him brushing hair out of your face.

Sharing beds because “it’s cold.”

Sharing hoodies.

Forehead touches.

Him kissing your cheek.

You kissing the top of his head.

Both of you blushing constantly.

He fwips his webs at your waist to pull you closer (Andrew Garfield moment)

"Miles?" You ask groggily, your brain teetering between the line of conscious and unconscious. That last mission really took it out of you, "Yeah?" He responds, wide awake in an attempt to savour every second with you on his lap. "I really love you... I just... hope that.. one day... I have the courage to say it... properly"

Miles can literally feel his heart beating out of his chest.

And after all the abuse he's endured from the universe, his wish finally came true <3 (Holy cringe but wtv.)

A/N: felt like writing for my husband because I can't wait till 2027.
