One of my favorite Derry Girls moments is in 3x06 is between Clare and Jenny Joyce.

It's such a small thing, but it captures the spirit of the show. Bc Jenny has been the girls' nemesis since 1x01. Their fights with Jenny are typical teenager fights - over how annoying they find one another, over Jenny finding the girls obnoxious and the girls finding Jenny smug, etc.

But when it comes down to life or death issues, that falls away. Despite not getting along, when Clare is sobbing and walking past Jenny, Jenny's instinct is to put her hand on Clare's shoulder. To offer some comfort and support, even though she knows it's not enough.

If you look at Jenny's face, you can see this isn't Jenny trying to make herself the center of attention, or trying to seem like a good person, like the way she behaves in past episodes. She doesn't push her way into the group of Derry Girls to try and take over Clare's support - she knows that Clare's friends can offer more comfort than she can. She just sees someone in pain, and her reaction is let Clare know: I'm here, I see you, I see your pain, and I'm so sorry this happened to you.
