Jill Bliss has a profound sense of aesthetics as we can see from her series that she calls Nature Medleys.

An educator trapped in an artist’s soul, Bliss had lived in big cities like New York, San Francisco and Portland until she finally sold her house and everything else in 2012 to appease her bohemian spirit. Since then, she has found her happiness amidst the Salish Sea islands of Canada and Washington State where she seeks inspiration from Mother Nature to compose her aesthetically sublime creations.

Nature Medleys is a brilliant combination of arrangement, photography and illustration of local plants and mushrooms taken from her surroundings, all coming together in a single frame to complement each other's beauty. It's vibrancy and effervescence posses the power to lift your spirit and to make you smile as you imagine Bliss picking out each of the blooms individually for her little series. You can catch fragments of the artist's life on Instagram as she posts snippets that speak of her everyday adventure whilst living in the islands of the Salish Sea.
