JINGLE JANGLE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️: (Non Spoilery bit) Watching the trailer and during the first 15mins I thought “this is going to be epic!”, it’s like a multicolour Christmas Hamilton. The cut scene with the CGi puppets was great and it thought would help push the film along, but after a bit the movie it seemed to slowdown and just wasn’t punchy enough, it just needs a little editing down the weaker parts and it would have been a lot better. It’s worth watching with the kids but just be aware they may get restless before the end. It looked great and it’s a nice Christmas movie. Have you seen it? What did you think? (Spoilery bit: I think they could have cut out the storyline with the eccentric post lady and the second apprentice boy as it ultimately didn’t affect the story too greatly. I thought the fact that the toy made people fly was a bit OTT and for all his centrality to the plot, the robot lacked charisma or much to do. The little matador was cool but strangely was of little consequence in the story on the end. I was surprised to learn he was voiced by Ricky Martin! None of these criticisms made the film bad but it just missed a little of its potential IMO.
