Afaik the Imperial Agent storyline is considered some of the best writing in SWTOR. And I agree - even though it's not my personal favourite, it set out to tackle some hard themes and arguably handled them incredibly well.

And yet, the best part about it is arguably the fact that if you play as a female Cipher, you get an entire questline of female Hawke trading snark with male Hawke.

That is a stupid reasoning.

Ashley Johnson was 27 when she voiced a 14 year-old Ellie in TLOU. And she was even older when she did Ellie is Part II, who is meant to be 19.

So that’s not it for Ciri. For voice acting, there need not be an age limit. Because it’s just the voice, not the face. 

I don’t know why they changed Ciri’s VA, and I’m sure the new one will do great.

But I doubt it’s because they wanted someone younger, because according to this new trailer, Ciri looks to be around her 30s.

Therefore, Jo Wyatt would still be an appropriate choice.

Plus, apparently the Polish VA is still the same.

I just found out that the lady who voiced the female Imperial Agent in SWTOR also voiced Ciri in the Witcher games! I thought her voice sounded familiar!

Cipher Ciri has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? 😁
