EROSOLLO AND DIOPHYRUS GETTING MARRIED HEADCANONS UNDER THE READMORE LETS DO IT.

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS TAKE PLACE AFTER A TIMESKIP:

Proposing

Holy fuck, Erosollo is proposing so hard.

First order of business, they go and ask LonnieAnne for permission to marry her son. Of course Lonnie says yes, because Erosollo is like, the perfect little gentleman who has treated her baby like a prince for the last few years.

Second order of business... they have to ask Tolnaftate. They don't know why Dio hangs around with her all the time, but it's clear there's some sort of relationship there, so... Erosollo puts on their absolute best manners and asks the Wocky.

And maybe Tolnaftate is just feeling soft. Maybe it's because she's now started to like this kid, because they've been treating Dio so kindly. Maybe it's the fact that Dio said Erosollo makes him happier than anyone he's ever known.

But Tolnaftate actually agrees to it, though not without telling Erosollo exactly what she'll do to them if they ever break that little bunny's heart. (It's not pleasant.)

Finally, Erosollo asks their mother if it's okay for them to marry Diophyrus. They've got a PowerPoint and a full 30 minute speech prepared about why they love him and why they so badly want to marry him and are about to launch into it...

...but Necroptosis just kisses the top of Erosollo's head and says of course they can marry Diophyrus. They don't need her permission. She's just got one question; who's getting walked down the aisle?

That answer will come later...

Finally, Erosollo's ready to propose. All their allowances that they never got to have because they kept getting ripped off are getting cashed in for a ring.

Erosollo tells the girls that they are taking the entire day just to spend time with Dio. Koko and Pher just KNOW what is up and are both hyped to hell and back. They low-key stalk the couple all day.

They go and get Diophyrus and spend the entire day just going around Neovia, talking about whatever, stopping at Crumpetmongers' to get some snacks, and being the most sickeningly adorable pair of sweethearts out there. They're giving people cavities.

And finally Erosollo takes them to the least spooky spot they could find. They take both of Dio's hands in theirs...

"Diophyrus... You’ve completely changed my life. I used to think true love was just some sort of fairy tale thing, but meeting you proved to me that it’s real. And I want to give you a happily ever after. Will you marry me?”

And Diophyrus stands there in silence... before practically shrieking "YES" at the top of his lungs, grabbing Erosollo, and spinning them around as he hugs them. He might also toss them in the air, he's just excited!

Erosollo puts the ring on Diophyrus and gaves him a passionate kiss. The wedding... IS ON!

Invitations

One day Erosollo sneaks out to Moltara and gives a letter to Roxalae, telling her that it needs to go to one specific person, only that person, and they need to open it right in front of Roxie and not let anyone else see it. Roxie just says okay.

And then in a few days Wysteranium turns up at the house. Erosollo grabs their hand, and they both go in.

"I... invited Wys! I hope that's allowed..." Erosollo smiles awkwardly as Wysteranium stands there with their head hanging low.

Cursyn and Necroptosis drop everything in their hands before running to tackle hug Wysteranium. A lot of tears are shed, and not just because of the emotion powers Wys has.

Diophyrus, meanwhile, goes out into the woods alone to find Tolnaftate. He has no idea that by this point, Erosollo had asked her permission to marry him, too.

Tolnaftate's... hesitant. But she says she might go. In a tone of voice that makes it clear she's absolutely going.

The rest of the invitations are fairly obvious. Of course Koko and Pher are going. Lonnie is Dio’s mom, she’s going. It's a small ceremony, but Erosollo does go and ask his brother if he'd like to invite Seyliane.

Cursyn already isn't even sure he'll be in the wedding, even though Erosollo wants him to so badly... so all he says is to leave a blank invitation in his room and he'll think about it.

A couple days later, a wedding invitation arrives at the beach house on Roo Island. Seyliane's entire family wants to go, but Seyliane stops that real quick.

Erosollo actually considers inviting Symonious, since she's Pherphernut's friend, but Sym has to turn them down... Mostly because she doesn't want to be the awkward one going to the wedding while Erican is stuck chained to his house... (Of course, if Erican has sufficiently repented and lost his chains by then, she's absolutely going and hauling EVERYONE to the wedding. Even Ixoyuz. Even Sythian.)

The Wedding

The wedding is happening at Necroptosis's house, because Cursyn doesn’t want to go anywhere...

Erosollo is getting ready in their room, just finished tying their tie and they step out to talk to Necroptosis really quick... only to come face to face with Cursyn in a tuxedo. It takes everything in them to not burst into tears of happiness because... Cursyn's really going to come outside and be there...

But he needs a finishing touch, so Erosollo runs to find Pherphernut, drags her to Cursyn, and she conjures up a flower crown for him to wear to match everyone else's. Cursyn just quietly says thanks and tries to hide the sweet, soft smile coming to his face.

LonnieAnne and Diophyrus get picked up, and Erosollo is hiding up in his room while Necroptosis takes Dio to where he'll get changed into his own suit...

And then Tolnaftate lands on the front porch. Necroptosis isn't... thrilled she's here, per say, but she won't say anything or start anything. And for once, Tolnaftate won't say anything or start anything either.

Seyliane is the last one to arrive, and they are immediately feeling too casual when they actually see Cursyn in a tuxedo. But Cursyn insists they're perfectly fine like that.

Walking down the aisle goes one of two ways:

If Dio walks: Lonnie takes his arm in hers and begins walking him down the aisle... But the second Diophyrus sees Erosollo at the altar, he can't wait and just takes off in a full sprint. Lonnie just gets dragged along before Dio screeches to a stop to be handed off.

If Erosollo walks: Necroptosis takes their arm and begins walking them down the aisle... Telling them how happy she is that they're marrying someone they truly adore. Erosollo is struggling not to cry, and then Necro hands them off to Diophyrus, telling the Cybunny to take care of her little poppy.

As the vows are exchanged, Tolnaftate is hiding under her hood, tears streaming down her face as she chokes back sobs. Lira would've really loved this...

I already hit my sugar-sweet quota on the proposal speech, so pretend I wrote VERY sappy and gay vows here, because hoh my god.

And once Erosollo and Diophyrus both exclaim "I do!" at the same exact time, they embrace and kiss each other as everyone claps.

Cursyn and Wysteranium are clinging to each other, bawling their eyes out. Everyone else may or may not be crying due to Wys's emotion powers...

The Reception

Now that the knot has been tied, it's party time! Of course, the second Diophyrus has the slice of cake in his hand, he smears it all over Erosollo's face.

Erosollo responds by grabbing Diophyrus by the shoulders and messily kissing him to cover him in cake, too.

The bouquet tossing has Kokonili hyped, she's positive it's gonna go to her. The bouquet goes flying, and lands in the hands of...

Wysteranium, which immediately gets the Gelert flustered. They... They don't even like anyone like that. (@wraithaisha except they totally do) Cursyn now makes it his life's goal to find Wysteranium someone to make them happy.

The first dance between the grooms, you'd think would be an elegant and beautiful fairy tale ballroom dance... But Diophyrus can't dance. He's always trod on Erosollo's feet every time they try. But Erosollo is fine with that, because Dio takes very good care of their heart. The two of them have a genuinely fun time trying to ballroom dance, even if it isn't perfect.

Diophyrus exchanges a look with Lonnie before the parental dances start... and the Kau smiles and nods at him, because she knows what he's going to do. Dio walks over to a short figure in a far corner of the room...

He offers Tolnaftate his hand before asking, "Auntie Tol, may I have this dance?"

She sobs horrifically, nods, and the two go to the dance floor for their dance together. It's not the most elegant, since Diophyrus has to bend down so low to dance with the short little Wocky, but it's the most emotional. He's crying, purple spots appearing all over his face that Tol keeps having to hastily get cleaned up. She's crying, all of her mascara running down her cheeks, on to her chin, and on to her dress.

Once those two are done, they need a minute, so Necroptosis offers her arm to Erosollo so they can dance together... But Erosollo pauses to whisper something to her, before going to grab Cursyn and have him join them.

Cursyn looks a bit unsure, glancing back at Seyliane... Who gives him a double thumbs up. Go dance with your family! The Mutant Acara shyly goes to the dance floor with his brother and mother...

Because bird mom is so small, Cursyn and Erosollo basically dance with her between the two of them, all three of them laughing and crying a bit over it. Necroptosis makes sure to tell both of her babies how proud she is of how far they've both come.

Wysteranium is practically weeping over how sweet this is with their face in their hands... and then Cursyn opens up what is basically a dance-group-hug and tells them to get in there. Erosollo follows suit, beckoning to Koko and Pher, and suddenly ALL OF THEM are on the dance floor.

Diophyrus notices all of this and hastily runs over to dive into the group hug too, wiggling his way to his prince and covering them in kisses. This hug gets so intense that everyone falls over and land in a pile.

Everyone's laughing and crying a bit, Wysteranium is hugging Necro and Cursyn, Koko and Pher and Dio are ALL hugging Erosollo, it's beautiful. Everyone will have their own special dances later, including Cursyn and Seyliane, but right now this moment is... perfect.

Honeymoon (AND BEYOND?)

After the wedding ends, Dio and Erosollo get a honeymoon to wherever they want... These two dorks pick Altador of all places.

After the honeymoon, Dio and Erosollo decide to settle down in Meridell, mostly to help Lonnie out with her farm. Of course, Erosollo always goes back to Neovia to check in on his mom, brother, and friends.

One day the topic of starting a family comes up. Erosollo admits they want to be a better dad than their own father was, but they understand if Dio would rather not have a baby around so soon... while the Cybunny's eyes are practically sparkling.

A few months later, Erosollo and Diophyrus go to visit Necroptosis with a little bouncy bundle of joy...

It is time for the second of the 5 account showcases on my blog, and--- wait a minute! There's 7 pets here! What's going on?!

Well, with my main being about to get 16 slots soon, I realized that we're going to need to change up how we do this. Especially since my entire first showcase was for my halzatron account, and now all of those pets (+1) will be moving to my main once the slot situation is resolved... And one of the pets here is moving, as well. So here's the new plan! We're doing characters that are all actually involved with each other, or share a theme of some sort... And what better way to start than with the side account that actually got me to start making Neopets OCs in the first place?

Alright, enough stalling, let's do this.

Final Warning: Everything below is over 1,300 words long, and I tried to make these as small and simple as I could. Let's go!

Deep within the Haunted Woods lies one of many giant, spooky mansions... Surrounded by a garden of carnivorous plants, who would even call this place home? Quite a lot of people, actually, but let's start with the actual homeowner.

Name: Symonious Pronouns: she/her Color: Christmas Petpet: Eventide Pandaphant (Saros)

Fresh out of college and living with a roommate in Neopia Central, Symonious hit it big when she won the lottery. She always longed to have some sort of adventure, maybe move somewhere spooky... and what better place than a giant, spooky mansion in the woods? And it was severely discounted, because it only might have been haunted!

Turns out "might have been" meant "absolutely was", and now Symonious lives with a ghost... But that's not gonna dampen her spirit or anything. Instead, Sym befriended the ghost in her (err, his?) house, and soon opened up the manor for roommates! Now she essentially lives in a weird sitcom where all sorts of batshit insane things are happening around her home... But at least she's having fun, right?

She usually hangs out at home, knitting sweaters for her Pandaphant, but sometimes she'll fly out to Neovia for a change of scenery and to hang out with Necroptosis. She may or may not occasionally help the Pteri's kids all play pranks on people...

Relationship-wise, she's still friends with her old roommate Chrysalisna (who lives in Neopia Central and thinks Sym is crazy for moving to the Haunted Woods), but Erican has basically become one of her best friends. She considers most of her housemates her friends as well, except Sythian (he barely comes out!) and Vivianana (prissy Usul gets on her nerves...)

Name: Erican Pronouns: he/him Color: Ghost (formerly Pirate) Petpet: Darigan Carmariller (Phantasm)

The ghost Aisha living in the manor is notable for two things: his cold, almost emotionless demeanor, and the chains that litter his body...

In life, Erican was a greedy, cruel pirate who made his claim to fame by capturing criminals, looting all of their treasure for himself, and turning them in to authorities... There's more info here.

Erican retired to the Haunted Woods with billions of Neopoints and not a single friend to his name. Because he drove everyone away from him, and no one wanted to chance getting on his bad side, no one was really around when he mysteriously fell ill and dropped dead in his own manor.

Nor was anyone around when he came back as a ghost, cursed by his own avarice. On-site he only has one, but I imagine he's covered in dozens of chains, all of them weighing him down and keeping him essentially trapped in his house. His eternal punishment for his greed is to remain incorporeal, shackled to the mansion full of riches and treasures he can't even touch anymore...

Of course, then a certain Vandagyre bought his manor, and now Erican is essentially stuck with... a friend? And then that Vandagyre ended up having a housewarming party, which lead to Erican meeting a certain Gold Blumaroo... This makes his eternal damnation even worse, honestly.

That heart chained to his leg is his actual heart, leaving a gaping hole in his chest where it should be. Only after he's sufficiently repented will his chains ever disappear and his heart come back, but... He's not even sure how to repent.

Relationship time! Erican is dating Wee, a cheery, happy-go-lucky Gold Blumaroo who he can't even touch because he's always incorporeal. Symonious is his best friend, and he just sort of... tolerates the housemates. Except Ixoyuz, who he does have a special fondness for. Erican does have two enemies though... specifically Lypekia, a vengeful Xweetok who wants his riches... and a mysterious Ghost Ruki that he occasionally sees flickers of...

Name: Ixoyuz Pronouns: he/him Color: Shadow Petpet: Spotted Bilguss (Speckles) (Wait, wasn't this something else?)

Though he looks like an older Jubjub, Ixoyuz is actually very young. He's not quite a baby, more like a young child... He's very small and dark colored, which lead to him blending in perfectly in a certain ghost's greenhouse. After a while, though, Ixoyuz finally got the courage (read as: he was very cold and hungry) to actually go into the big spooky manor... And promptly scared everyone living there half to death.

After they all managed to catch the Jubjub, it was decided that he'd live in the house as... the weird house baby-mascot? Not that Ixoyuz minded, he was just happy to have food and a warm place to sleep. He even managed to sort of befriend Erican, who was the only one who could understand the strange chattering noises the Jubjub made.

Ixoyuz is mostly blind. He can see shapes and shadows, but he can't see things clearly and mostly relies on sound to get around. The best things he can see are anything that glows, which is why he follows Erican around most often.

The Shadow Jubjub can often be found toddling around behind whoever has his interest for the day (as I said, he usually follows Erican until the ghost goes up stairs) or sleeping in front of the fireplace... Or disguising himself as a cushion to scare people. He also likes to run to the gate whenever he hears it creak open.

Name: TheCartaker (but just Cartaker for short is fine!) Pronouns: he/him Color: Halloween Petpet: Intesteen (Splort)

Symonious's first order of business upon buying the mansion and beginning to fix it up was to try and find a gardener willing to risk being eaten by killer plants. Erican is incorporeal, so he can't exactly tend to his garden himself. And he told Sym she was crazy, that only an idiot or an insane person would take this job...

And then a Scorchio responded to the want ad, with his only request being for his wife to be allowed to move into the manor with him. Symonious and Erican decided to agree to it, and thus, TheCartaker came to the manor! And so did his wife! And their Intesteen that they basically treat as a baby.

Despite the fact that Cartaker is very, very weird and eccentric, he's a good gardener. He is actually capable of fending off most of the plants in the yard without getting eaten. The bedroom the two got placed in was rather small, as Symonious had two one other housemate living there at the time, so Cartaker took to sleeping in the greenhouse while his wife stayed inside. His loud snoring might've also driven a certain Jubjub crazy enough to go into the house...

He's married to Vinylethers, who he absolutely adores and only wants to spoil. He usually treats Symonious and Erican more like his bosses than anything, but he at least considers Sym his friend, since she actually is pretty nice and once made a sweater for Splort. He's become something of an unwitting rival to Lypekia, after the Xweetok tried to break into the house and he fended her off with a rake... And she vowed that he'd pay dearly for that.

Name: Vinylethers Pronouns: she/her Color: Halloween Petpet: Faerie Selket (Fae) (This was definitely a Flishy long ago...)

A very socially anxious and borderline agoraphobic Lenny, Vinylethers rarely leaves her room/lab, where she's constantly brewing all sorts of potions. Her goal is to one day become a famous alchemist, or maybe even becoming a healer... But her damn anxiety makes it hard for her to even speak to people who aren't her dumpling (Cartaker), let alone a potential employer...

Her skills are pretty much useless in Erican's home, which makes her deeply self-conscious. She feels like she's just sort of freeloading here, and everyone is judging her for that. But it's not really true; anxiety just sucks like that...

Since she rarely ventures out of her room, her main form of communicating is using her husband as a middle-man... But she is friends with Symonious. And speaking of Cartaker...

Holy fuck, these two are madly in love with each other. They met while out in the woods; she was gathering plants for some potions, he was just admiring the flora... and when they locked eyes with each other, they both just knew. They both believe in true love for that reason alone. Fyora help you if you should ever harm a hair on that Scorchio's head, because Vinylethers will throw her anxiety out the window to protect him by whatever means necessary... Even from a vengeful pirate.

Name: Sythian_Keltair Pronouns: he/him Color: Candy Petpet: Neotrak (Peedee)

The mysterious Candy Ruki turned up at the manor on a stormy night, covered in mud, scrapes, and bruises. Carrying little more than the clothes on his back, his Petpet, and some tech that absolutely wasn't stolen, Sythian begged Symonious to just... let him stay anywhere here, just until the heat dies down. What was he even talking about? The Vandagyre wasn't sure, but he looked so desperate that she relented.

Sythian moved into the catacombs under the house, being told to completely avoid that first door, and soon set up his room... Which was practically a bomb shelter with the way he fortified it. Symonious has tried to talk to him, but... he's weird. Like, weirder than Cartaker levels of weird. He's always mumbling about crazy things...

A world made of Jelly? A giant mutation ray? Knowledge vampires? Like, come on, Sythian, that's all madness! Symonious is convinced that the manor is a crackpot magnet now...

The Ruki rarely ever comes up to the manor, only showing up around midnight to get snacks for himself and to let his Neotrak charge itself (the catacombs lack decent electricity). Erican is the only one who has seen him in the house, though the ghost hasn't actually spoken to him.

He constantly says aliens are after him, but... what aliens? He may or may not also have a boyfriend who is looking for him, though their relationship is... extremely long distance at the moment. Like, his boyfriend is still on Virtupets Space Station levels of long distance.

Name: Vivianana Pronouns: she/her Color: Usuki Petpet: Whippet (Yellow Weewoo)

Vivianana was taking a walk one day, when she took a wrong turn and ended up lost in the Haunted Woods. That might've been the end of her, but luckily (or not), she found a manor with a vacancy... And Symonious was willing to let her stay rent-free until she wasn't so frazzled.

At first glance, people think Vivianana is a ditzy airhead who is only obsessed with clothes and fashion... And she is a bit ditzy, not gonna lie. And she does love clothes too! But she's not a complete idiot; she does have common sense and enjoys building things... Too bad most people see an Usul with these looks and just dismiss her as a dumb doll...

Because of her ditzy, sort of prissy attitude, Symonious doesn't particularly like her. Not enough to throw her out, but enough to want this Usul gone and fast. Sym actually called up Chrys and practically begged her to come to the Haunted Woods and take this Usul to replace herself as a roommate, and Chrys obliged and took Vivi back to Neopia Central...

...until Vivi wandered off again. Where to? No one's really sure, but there's been rumors that a very pretty Usul has been spotted with a group of hooligans in Moltara...

Has a bad tendency to get crushes on people based on their looks alone... She was crushing on Erican, until a certain Gold Blumaroo ruined that... And then she had another crush, but he's long gone now... But maybe this Nimmo she's met is the one?

And that's everyone! What? No, there was never any other housemate, don't be ridiculous! A Peophin? No, you're talking crazy. No Peophin ever lived here. Absolutely not. You're starting to sound like Sythian now... Err... Whatever you do, don't go into that first door in the catacombs...

And don't mention the name Daemonblun.
