A book I quite enjoyed (despite not having played the games yet).
The language was a bit difficult (there are a lot of old terms), but the characters were really fascinating and the plot engaging.
It was... quite sad. Still, I found it worth the read and I'd actually like to find something kinda similar in vibe!

Currently Reading: Bioshock: Rapture by John Shirley
So, the cover of this book is what grabbed me, but seeing that it's the prequel to the game series of the same name and this kind of alternative universe setting and I was hooked. I do have the whole game series on my gaming laptop and do need to start it, but this book is pulling me into the story itself.
At where I'm at right now, we've had multiple points of view of trying to figure out what exactly Andrew Ryan is doing. What's he got on his mind? And why is he trying to promote rapture?
And that's really all I got right now! But the writing and the tension within the story is doing its job and keeping me reading and wondering. I'll come back and let y'all know later how it turns out!
