Can't stop thinking about Jon Sable's trans girlfriend.
Okay for starters her name is Myke and she is six foot tall. They really like to make jokes about how she's taller than Jon, who is 5'11 or 5'10, repeatedly throughout the series.
This is fine, but whatever. She also lives with her gay male roommate, Grey, and they share rent and such.
Anyway, she goes home to her parents house, and when she is there this is her father's reaction.
She then later muses about how, three or four years ago, something happened, and her father has not moved on, hasn't changed, doesn't forgive her... for whatever this thing is.
And later when Jon goes looking for her, he insists he only has one daughter.
So the question I pose to you is, am I being fucked with? Am I losing chess to a dog? Maybe, but I'm genuinely thinking that this woman is actually trans, which would be really cool in a series that otherwise is politically baffling.
