Genuine question how did you guys imagine all of the characters in the reckoners trilogy. Obviously everyone’s descriptions were shitty because it was told by David, who only really cares about Megan’s appearance.

Let me preface, I didn’t realize Megan was blonde and imagined her with like auburn colored hair for nearly half of Steelheart until I went back to reread her first appearance 😭 so if I miss any canonical details just ignore that.

First and foremost, David is 100% like 5’7. He’s not tall. Brown hair, brown eyes, and like the most basic male haircut possible. Also all of his outfits are uncoordinated and don’t match at all. He’s cute in a geeky way.

MEGAN. OH GOD MEGAN I LOVE HER. Things honestly got better when I remembered that she was blonde. Her eye color is probably mentioned but I don’t remember what color they were so I lowk just imagined them as being green and really sharp? I also can’t picture her without a brown leather jacket, jeans, and a tank top. I actually have no clue why she just isn’t complete without it. I really don’t know how tall I imagined her to be. Like maybe 5’5. I don’t know.

Abraham. Bald. But like shiny bald, not matte bald if you get my drift. Brown eyes so dark that they almost are black. Also he has a mustache. Like 6’2 probably, defined muscles. (I DONT REMEMBER THEIR HEIGHTS.) Really straight nose, I just get that vibe from him idk. Oh also high cheekbones

Cody is blond. I don’t know if this was ever actually mentioned but he’s blond. The only thing I can recall from his description is “wiry.” So in my mind he’s quite lanky, in his early 30s probably. Also has a fairly basic haircut, although it’s a bit more styled than David’s. Owns like one pair of boots that have been through hell. Big ass blue eyes with absolutely 0 thoughts behind them.

TIA MY GLORIOUS WIFE AGH where do I even start ??? Shoulder length red hair + green eyes. (god these fucking green eyed freaks are everywhere) Thin-framed red glasses. Lowk dresses like a paralegal all of the time no matter the occasion. I lowk don’t give a shit if she was described as “slender” by david. please let me have chubby women in my life please pleas olease

Prof my second wife because I apparently support polygamy now. Guys I can’t even lie anymore, there’s no way he isn’t fine as hell because Tia (a known baddie) would NOT put up with his bullshit if he wasn’t. Before his hair was gray, JET FUCKING BLACK. Green eyes. Duh. Whole outfit is really put together except for his beat up low top black chuck taylors (projecting don’t mind that). Probably has bad posture. Also probably a lot paler than he was before calamity. I imagine he was a lot more like whimsical and social (albeit a little awkward) before everything. Sort of lanky, but a little toned. Like imagine that one Robert Pattinson interview where he was talking about how he refused to gain muscle for the role of batman. That’s prof basically. “no im not gonna get buff and become a tyrant fuck you calamity”

Anyway that’s all I have for you guys please let me hear your thoughts 🙏

Katrielle x Emiliana: "A classic enemies to lovers dynamic, though I interpret it as one-sided enemies. Emiliana convinces herself that she has to be Katrielle’s rival, due to the different ways they approach cases (Katrielle mostly goes on gut instincts while Emiliana prides herself on her profiling skills and data collecting); however Katrielle just seems to be going along with it. Throughout the game, Katrielle teases Emiliana, which flusters and confuses Emiliana. As the game goes on, Emiliana will eventually tease back. Also, in one of the game’s later episodes, Emiliana purposefully throws others off of Katrielle’s trail, giving Katrielle the chance to figure things out herself. Based on the profile Emiliana made for Katrielle, she knew where Katrielle would go, so she could have pointed everyone to her. She chose not to."
