Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) - Don't Lift A Finger
Josh Allen was famous for not letting Y/n lift a finger. If there was something to be done, he'd do it. If she so much as looked like she was considering effort, he was already handling it. To him, she deserved to be treated like royalty—no exceptions. So when he texted her during training about a desk delivery, all he asked was that she 'keep an eye out'. Simple.
The delivery guys arrived right on time, hauling in the massive box with ease. They were friendly, making small talk as they worked, and Y/n, being the polite person she was, offered them coffee. When they were finished, she even tipped them for going the extra mile. But as they left, an idea sparked in her mind. A dangerous idea. Josh was due back in a couple of hours. That gave her just enough time.

Josh stepped into the house after practice, immediately noticing the huge, empty box in the hallway. His brows furrowed. "Babe?" He called. No answer. He followed the faint sounds of movement upstairs, entering their office to find Y/n adjusting the last part of the desk. She stood back, hands on her hips, admiring her handiwork. Josh, still staring, blinked. "Wait. The delivery guys didn’t build it?" She scoffed. "Nope."
"What do you mean nope? We always have them build our stuff when it's delivered." His confusion was evident. She grinned. “It wasn’t a big deal. Almost died bringing it upstairs, though.” Josh’s jaw tensed. His face turned an unmistakable shade of red. He took a slow breath, clearly trying to contain whatever emotions were currently warring inside him.
"You—what?" His voice was eerily calm. "I may have underestimated how heavy it was." She admitted with a laugh. "But hey, I got it done!" Josh ran a hand down his face before reaching for his phone. "I’m calling them back." Y/n gasped, grabbing his wrist. "Josh! It was a joke." He stared at her, expression unreadable. She bit back another laugh. "They built it. I just made coffee and chatted with them." His eyes narrowed. "You’re lying."
"I'm not!" She giggled. "Oh my God, your face right now." He exhaled heavily, tension melting from his shoulders as he realized she wasn’t serious. "You think this is funny?" He stepped forward, caging her against the desk with a smirk. She grinned up at him. "A little."
Josh shook his head, wrapping his arms around her waist and lifting her onto the very desk she’d pretended to build. "You love messing with me." she nodded. "I really do."
"You know I don’t like you lifting anything heavier than a pillow." She laughed. "Oh, trust me, I know." He leaned in, his lips brushing against hers. "Just for that, I’m carrying you everywhere for the rest of the day." Y/n rolled her eyes playfully. "You act like that’s a punishment." Josh grinned. "Good. Because you’re stuck with me, baby."
