Perv, quick question. Do trainers really ever teach southpaws to fight right handed as a tactic? I know Floyd is a tactician, but could he be thrown off a little if Paq came out fighting orthodox and then switched?
If Manny did that he would be giving away one of the few tactical edges he has.
Orthodox fighters are infinitely more comfortable fighting another orthodox fighter.
Additionally, the vast majority of fighters aren’t as good when they switch from their natural stance. I don’t know if it would be advantageous for Manny to go from 100% as a southpaw to 80% fighting orthodox.
