“Chicken wings. Got it.” He repeated this quietly to himself as to not forget until the phone had ceased to ring and his attention turned towards the voice at the other end of the line. He greeted the staff member on the other end of the phone politely before taking a minute to order the food requested and a few bottles of cola as well before exchanging his credit card information. It wasn’t very often that he was able to treat someone to a meal so he was glad when Hyejeong accepted his offer to do so. It made him feel good to treat his friends every once in a while even though he was so busy nowadays that it was hard for him to find time to actually do it. After hanging up the phone and putting it back in his pocket, he shifted his gaze over to the woman with a smile. “They said it’ll be here in about 20 minutes, luckily.”
