Kukui and Burnet were called for an emergency meeting at Kahuna Hala's residence, along with the rest of the Kahunas.
Upon arriving, they didn't expect that Lance would be there too for the meeting.
The emergency meeting turned out to be not an emergency, after all. Instead, Lance summoned them because he wants to know about Ash's life while he's still in Alola.
Lance: he won’t tell me shit which means he’s hiding shit and as his regional Champion of this trouble magnet means I need to know his shit.

I think those pokemon are the main one for each character. I relied on the anime chiefly, in my opinion their fits better with their trainers than in the game. Hope you enjoy it!

In chapter 3, Hala asked them to have a battle to test the pokemon battle arena for the upcoming tournament, and like his anime counterpart did with Ash, Nanu’s strategy was all about teasing the opponent
HE PULLED THE ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR CARD AND HIT HER SOFT SPOT WITH A CRITICAL HIT LMAO
He is having a little too much fun with this, huh? XD

Spe Olivia has such a temper, hahaha! I love that Nanu of all people goes to keep her away from Guzma. Back then I thought that this was the first sign that he cares about her - enough to avoid her to get involved in a fight with some rowdy guy for being called a something she is really not, lol
And this is my favorite bit. In the latest chapter, ch.21, we get more of them legit caring for eachother. I liked that their conversation suddenly got deep and then Nanu didn’t feel like sharing more about his past, and Olivia totally respected it. Also the “don’t do anything rash”, awwww...
I hope we get to see more of them together soon, and maybe he opening up more to her. Their interactions are priceless XD
