maybe exploring an abandoned house isn’t the smartest thing kai can do with his free time, but no one person has ever accused him of being particularly smart so he’s climbing in through a window with nothing but his varsity jacket and his phone flashlight. after a less than graceful entry, he pops back up and starts poking around for something interesting other than cobwebs and the threat of structural collapse. head buried in a closet with a door that only half opened, the sound of a creak behind him makes him jump ( smacking his head cleanly against the doorframe ) before spinning around, cracked iphone in hand.
