So, I can't sleep... Ali should be picking me up in about 5 and half hours... still, I can't sleep. I'm sitting in bed mindlessly surfing the net whilst I try and decide if it's a good idea to cancel my, already successful, uni application so that I can re-apply for the same corse... I'm acutely giving this serious thought (it's not quite as stupid as it sounds, long story) Anyway, it's enough to keep me up all night which is what has lead me here. When I say here, I actually mean the 'According to Her' tumblr page but it was reading though that, that reminded me of an unusual text I received this morning...
I was awoken this morning at 9:46 by the sound of my phone screaming at me, to inform me of an incoming text message. I'd like to add, this is a whole 14 minuets before my phones alarm is due to go off. (I'm sure my fellow musicians will sympathise with my frustration... I'm also sure members of the so called 'real world' will not) Well, I stumbled across my room, impressively navigating the obstacle corse of cups, plates, musical instruments and a few small animals, to reach the source of this unbearable noise. The message is from Alex; "We need blogs, or the band needs a blog. Blogs are hip. Sigh."
I too let out a 'sigh' accompanied by a dramatic eye roll and fall back into bed to enjoy a further 13 minuets of peace before my phone is inevitably going off again.
So here it is the first post from the first official Kakuzi blog. Myself and the guys, I'm sure will look forward to sharing our thoughts, coursing outrage and being so cynically controversial, that you'll have no choice other than to write about us in complaint, if not for any other reason...
