I absolutely LOVED Jaxon and Grace and they deserve all the stars in the sky!
This was a heartfelt, emotional, entertaining romance that was littered with sizzling heat, sweet and funny moments, friendships, and a road-trip that I couldn’t help but cheer for them to get out of the friend zone!!!
As I was swooning and grinning from ear to ear!
“Jax, let her sit next to you. You’re the only one I can trust.”
What started out as a simple request for Jaxson Brittain to watch and protect his best friend, little sister Grace on a party night in Austin, soon has this older hockey player in over his head when she gets her flirt and teasing on.
Even though he knew:
Grace Tanev was off limits.
She was in a relationship.
She was eight years younger than him.
She was his teammate’s little sister.
But when Grace came to her brother’s place in tears two weeks later, Jaxson was determined to make her feel better so he offers to take Grace for a drive the next day. And then Grace talked him into taking her on a road-trip as “friends”, which lasts the rest of the summer.
And oh my what a glorious road-trip it was!!!
I absolutely loved these two with their banter, their connection, their sexiness, their friendship and their love. I couldn’t put this book down…it was just so beautiful from cover to cover! This was another gold star hit in this incredible series!

This was a fantastic sport romance that swept me away at the beginning and kept me enthralled until the end. Entertaining full of flirty, witty banter, sizzling chemistry that sparks off the page, sex scenes that will make your heart pound and your body heat and a connection that is soul deep! These two belong together. And maybe they may share a death wish since the one rule for the whole football team is to NOT do anything with the coach’s daughter.
These two are both focused on following that rule until Holden gets hurt and Julep is his primary trainer. Being together day in and day out is just to much of a temptation to not take a chance and these two enjoy every moment. And boy oh boy did I enjoy their time together as well. These two are my new favorite book couple of the year! Hot, hot, hot! I highly recommend this book to every romance reader on the planet!! I will definitely be reading this again and again!!
