I really enjoyed Karyn Kusama’s film “Destroyer”. Even though the characters are not the most likable and for the most part make cruel and amoral decisions, you can relate to Nicole Kidman’s character and know where she is coming from. The shuffling of time in the film can be a bit jarring but overall it kept me interested throughout the entire film. Nicole Kidman delivers a powerful performance of a character in complete decay- who is tormented by the terrible choices made in the past- but with a strong desire to make things right at all costs.
