being souya's s/o includes...
he learns very quickly it's not hard to make you cry, but he always asks what's wrong in case it's actually something serious.
whether it's because of a sad movie or someone was mean to you, souya gets accustomed to calming you down and making sure you're well hydrated after crying. will even take a nap with you if you're sleepy after crying.
a nap always helped him when he got upset, so he figured it could work well for you too.
doesn't tell you to just stop crying or shut up because he knows how it feels to just cry
there doesn't have to be anything that makes you sad necessarily. if you're sad just because that's perfectly fine too. honestly, souya doesn't often ask you why you're sad often.
if you're clearly in pain or distressed, he'll ask, but if you're just sniffling alone in your room, he'll snuggle up to you and give you lots of kisses and hugs to cheer you up. doesn't let go of you until you're feeling better.
you've got him wrapped around your finger, really. he's half clueless and half instinct when he sees you cry. he just does what he wants someone to do for him when's he's crying. he treats you how he wants to be treated, and somehow it works.
it may be because the two of you have similar personalities and very soft-hearted in general that it works for you too, even though he goes around beating people up with his gang every so often.
tries not to show up at your doorstep all injured, but it's kind of hard hiding evidence of what opposing gang members did to see his face sometimes.
he hides the smaller things like a scratch or a bruise since he knows you'll probably send yourself into a crying fit because you're worried, and he hates to worry you like that
if it's something bigger, like the injuries he got during the tenjiku fight, then he'll come clean that he's not okay, but you don't have to worry because it's nothing too serious. he doesn't need surgery for it, he's going to live, he'll heal and be perfectly fine eventually.
even when you're crying over the phone with him, he tries to reassure you a hundred times over that he's not going to run away from the hospital like his brother did. he's going to stay until he's discharged, then go home to recover some more as the doctors tell him.
will avoid doing anything for the next while that would upset you.
sure he'll go to toman meetings, but he'll back off from fighting too much. gotta keep his face pretty for his baby yk?
and yes, nahoya teases him to the moon and back for being a simp, but he's also proud of him for finding someone that's a perfect match for himself.
宗谷 // PUPPY LOVE
⠀ ༝ ༝ souya kawata [ angry ]
⠀༝ ༝ 900 words
⠀ ⚠︎ fluff !
⠀ — souya is is like a dad - says he doesn't want a pet but babies it once it's home.
souya kawata was rarely a man of few words.
usually, he has something to say, a quick quip always on his tongue ingrained into him from being constantly argumentative with nahoya the entirety of his life. but, as he stares at you, the bag of to-go ramen from his shop hanging loosely from his fingers, he can’t help but only stare in shock.
here, in your shared apartment, you sat on the floor with a baby gate surrounding you. in that baby gate was . . . a puppy. small terrier, he thinks, based on what he can see.
you perk up at the sound of him setting the bags on the counter, whispering something to the dog, who only yaps in response, following at your heel as you stand and step over the gate.
“hi baby.” you smile, wrapping an arm around his waist and standing on your toes, “how was work?”
“good.” he greets you with a kiss your forehead, soft in your presence, before his brows furrow and he nods his head to the elephant in the room, “puppy sitting for a friend?”
“hm?” you pretend to be oblivious, head tilting as you turn to follow his gaze, “oh, no.” and still, despite him clearly bringing it up, you don’t clarify what the baby gate is doing there, why there’s a puppy barking from inside it as it tries to crawl out of the gate, or why there are various unopened toys, food, and puppy pads sitting on the counter beside where he’s just put the food down, “what’s for dinner?” you ask, moving past him to take the ramen out.
“ramen,” he moves towards the gate, towering over the puppy who seems to just want to run free in the apartment, “who’s dog is this then?”
“ours.” you answer easily, grabbing two bowls from the cabinets and chopsticks for the two of you.
“ours?” he parrots, turning on his heel to watch you casually make you both plates, “that’s something we should talk about, isn’t it?”
“we did.” you remind him, bringing the bowls to the table and gesturing for him to come sit, “last week, after we broke in the new bed-”
“it was a hypothetical, us getting a dog.” his frown twitches to a scowl. of course you’d use him in such a vulnerable state for your own agenda, “we still should’ve gone together. what if i don’t like rat dogs.” despite his annoyance, he sits across from you and mumbles a quick thank you for this meal.
“but you do,” you continue where he stopped, picking up some noodles and blowing on them, “her name is sugaoku, after the shop.” you smile, and god he really wants to be upset with you but you just look so cute.
his eyes flit behind you, to the puppy who has mysteriously gone quiet, “yeah, well sugaoku is peeing on the floor,” he nods his head towards the gate, and you drop the chopsticks to whip around as if he could be lying, “and i will not be cleaning it up.”
you pout, pushing back from the table to open the pack of puppy pads and grab a wad of paper towels while mumbling i knew i forgot something.
he grins, when you can’t see him, blowing on his own bite of noodles before putting it in his mouth. he couldn’t stay upset with you if he tried.
and, despite telling you ‘you got the dog, she’s your responsibility’, souya still finds himself taking her out when his alarm goes off. like clockwork, he’d open the door to her crate, hook the leash onto her collar, and take her down the three flights of stairs so she could go potty - a cup of coffee in one hand, leash in the other, while he fantasized about staying in bed with you a little longer.
it’s really domestic, settling into a new routine of taking care of a plus one, with the work split between the two of you.
“do you have everything?” it’d be hard for a normal person to pick up on his worry, but you catch it easily with the slight way his brows furrow in, with the way he grips the bag holding all the puppy supplies. you laugh a little.
“yes, souya, everything is in there. three bottles of water, the portable bowl, snacks, some toys, her collar if the harness gets too hot, and the poop bags. can we go now?”
he peeks into the bag, scanning over everything despite you already checking it yourself two other times, “okay, yeah. i just want to be sure.”
“we’re bringing more stuff for her than us.” you point out, taking the leash from his hands to hook it to sugoaku’s harness, “you’re worrying for nothing. s’not like we’re gonna be there all day.”
he scowls, “i know that, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.” he pulls the bag over his shoulder, and souya honestly looks really cute, despite the face he’s making, with the bright bone-print of the backpack contrasting greatly with the rest of his vibe.
you pinch at his cheek, leaving him to scowl further and swat your hand away, “let’s just go already.”
“aye, aye captain.” you mock salute, picking up sugoaku to make the trip out of the apartment quicker, and souya scoffs at how you seem to baby her.
• When you smiled for the first time. You don’t smile much like how smiley does most of the time. You always seem to smile with your beautiful glint in your eyes.
So when the first time you genuinely smile at him with your pearly teeth and your softened gaze, he felt a sudden feeling of wanting to keep that smile on your face and protect it with his life, because the most beautiful people are the ones that are always smiling.
“You should smile more (Yn)-San! you have a beautiful smile and it suites you very well,”

• When you let him do your haircut. Atsushi wasn’t a well-known hairdresser yet. You were his first-ever customer and he was very happy that you were, other than Takemichi.
When doing your hair, he’s very gentle and focused on making it look perfect and beautiful because a perfect person deserves a perfect hair cut Is what always says making you delighted and giddy about it.
Once he was done, he complement his hard work, he did very well for a first-timer but your sure he practiced a lot when he was young and it sure paid off, you showed off your haircut and gave him all the credit. Suddenly everyone stared coming to his hair solan and we’re pleased with the results. Suddenly he started gaining popularity and applicants seeking the job. He was happy that his hard work paid off, and he couldn’t do it without it.
“Now I call this, the angels hair style! A beautiful hair style for a wonderful person like yourself.”

• When you call him by his gang nickname Gang-dex, for some odd reason he gets all shy and fluster at his gang name when you call him it. You supposed that it was the acknowledgment of his wits of gangs and because of his flustered attitude, you tease him a lot.
He freaking swears he can feel himself melting as you called him Gang-dex you found it very adorable at how flustered he gets when you do.
“Hey, Gang-Dex~ Isn’t it a lovely day today to do the so-called “Gang stuff” you always talk about I’m sure it’ll be fun,” you giggled at his flustered face.

• When you go to his favorite spot…. the school infirmary…. you sometimes question his favorite spot to yourself.. why the infirmary of all places? I mean it’s so…. bland, but you don’t think much of it.
You Just enjoy the moment with him with cuddles in the infirmary bed but you, couldn’t take the question not being answered so you polity asked about it.
“It’s because it’s the only place I’m able to freely have alone time with you. I want to spend a whole day with you without interruption and just cuddle with you all day,”

You don’t have to do this request but Smiley’s reaction to his bf sacrificing himself to save Angry from a brutal stab in a fight with another gang? basically the bf pulled a Baji (death or no death is up to you)
Everyone say thank you for the angst lol
X
It all happened so fast, he barely felt the knife hit him as he pushed Souya away until he saw the bloody knife in the person's hand.
Souya didn't know what to do as he stared at the blood pouring out of his brothers boyfriend "shit! 'HOYA!" Souya cried out as he made (name) lay down and Nahoya... Nahoya went ape shit.
(Name) was dizzy as he watched his boyfriend wreak havoc "keep awake!" A voice rang out but he couldn't quite figure out who as flashing lights were fuzzy in his peripheral and before he knew it.
It was black.
No one had ever seen Nahoya "Smiley" Kawata so stressed as he paced back and forth the waiting room, Souya sitting with his head is hands as stress ate the twins away.
What if he died?
Oh god Nahoya doesn't think he could handle that.
He couldn't loose his boyfriend.
The doctors were in surgery and it was nerve wracking as the rest of Toman came to check on them.
"Come on, he would want you guys to get som sleep"
No witty comebacks, no snarky and slightly hostile attitude.
Nothing.
The Eldest Kawata allowed himself to be led away by Mitsuya and Souya and everyone noticed one thing.
He wasn't smiling.
His face looked... Lost.
They couldn't imagine what would happen if it was Souya...
All they could do was hope (name) recovered.
Six times.
That's how many times (name) apparently almost died in surgery.
(Name) looked so helpless as he lay on the bed, like a doll.
"Come on baby... Wake up"
The doctor said he was in a medically induced coma, there was no prediction on when he exactly would wake up.
Hours.
Days.
Months.
It was fucking terrifying to think about.
But nahoya would spend every second he could to make sure (name) woke to see his face.
He saved Souyas life after all, the least be could do is be there when his boyfriend woke.
"Please wake up... I need you" Nahoya said, a soft tenderness no one but his brother had ever seen.
Eventually he began telling (name) about the ramen shop, the twins bought an old place that needed a fair bit of TLC and God was their some fucking nonsense.
He barely realized (name) was staring at him with love sick eyes until his weak hand pressed back gently against Nahoyas.
"Babe...?" Nahoya said, not quite believing himself as (name) tried taking off the air mask "here let me!"
Once the mask was off (name) smiled weakly at the elder Kawata "hi baby..." (Name)s voice was hoarse as Nahoya immediately grabbed a cup of water for him and a straw.
"You sound like shit baby.." Nahoya joked slightly "I feel like shit" voice sounding slightly better "is he ok?"
Even when stabbed, (name)s focus was still on other people.
Synopsis: You’re a very confused idol who unknowingly meets her fans.
Chapter 1 Chapter 2
a/n: hey hey~ it took awhile for me to finish this and I wasn’t able to accurately add all of the details in the ask but I hope that this is good enough :( also, please, don’t mind the inaccuracy when it comes to the idol world, concerts, and gangs. I am an uneducated person and only based it off of what I know from the internet and such… also, i didn’t expect for this to be this long plsssss. It was only supposed to be 3k or something :( lastly, what do you lovelies think of me uploading 2-3 times a week?
Adrenaline courses through Mikey’s veins as his bright eyes watch your form on the stage, your body gracefully swaying on the stage as you dance to the beat of the song while tightly holding onto your mic, belting out the notes with your eyes closed behind the mask. He can see the way you’re smirking, your tinted lips barely covered by your mask that stops on your nose and only covers the upper half of your face.
It’s been a huge mystery to the rest of the fandom why your group opted to cover their face - most wore half masks that either covered the upper or lower half of their faces - instead of going public with it but Mikey’s not going to lie if he said that that wasn’t one of the reasons why a lot of people were drawn to your group, him and his gang included.
It’s only been 5 years since your group first debuted and it only took a year for D-Youth to become a global hit, taking over Asia and even the western world.
That’s why it’s such a miracle for all of the founding members of Toman to be able to buy a ticket for your homecoming concert after the D-Youth’s world tour.
Now, he’s jumping with the crowd, lungs bursting as he screams the lyrics with you, your form roaming the stage with your custom axe bass slung on your shoulder as you point at the crowd, a smirk making its way to your tinted lips, your skin glimmering from both your sweat and the lighting, it almost makes Mikey choke when he briefly makes eye contact with you, barely seeing the way you wink through your mask before you move to the other side of the stage.
“Let me bring you to paradise!” You riled up the crowd as the familiar flute and whistle blasts through the speakers, the other members of D-Youth starting to rest for awhile as they sway along with the tune, smirks on their faces as they watched the way you move your hips with the beat, luring the crowd to follow your actions.
Your fingers play with the mic as you walk around the stage, dancing a little whenever you get too close to the crowd.
It makes Chifuyu scream louder when his fingers almost brush against yours when you lean down to stare at Hina in front of him, the girl almost fainting when your fingers make their way under her chin to make her look up at you while you sing to your mic. “You’re not being punished, I’m your paradise~”
Goosebumps appear on Hina’s skin as her eyes tear up, your heated fingers leaving a tingle on her skin as you pull away. It feels like she’s about to ascend to heaven as you ruffle her hair a bit before fully moving to the rest of the crowd.
The screaming from around her numbs her ears but the way that you had stared at her as you sang had surely made her question all her life choices. It makes her forget that her boyfriend is literally right next to her, Takemichi losing his mind when he watches his girlfriend get touched by you. Jealousy boils in his stomach but at the same time, the awe and amazement of having you this close to him is so unbelievable.
For the last 20 minutes of the concert, you had made sure to do your best to interact with the crowd, your cousins doing the same as they set their instruments on their shoulders or the floor, joining you as they give you backing vocals and harmonized with you, sometimes playfully dancing with each other which made the crowd scream louder.
It had been an overly enjoyable homecoming concert, after a successful first world tour, it had been a blast, meeting so many fans and even managing to spot a few unique individuals in the crowd.
Individuals having some very interesting hair and eye colours along with very loud screams that stood out from the rest of the others, you note to yourself when you pass by the right side of the stage, eyes catching sight of two pairs of piercing violet eyes with some interesting hair.
At first, you had thought that they weren’t enjoying the concert, along with the group that they seem to be in since they all seemed to just be standing there and not singing along with the crowd, but you noticed how the identical looking boys along with a white-haired boy had been mouthing along to the song, their eyes never leaving your form when you walked to their side of the stage.
Aside from that, you also noticed a huge group of boys with quite a bunch of colourful hairs as well, some having tattoos or piercings.
So far, this has been the most exciting crowd that you’ve had, so, during the last parts of the concert when you and the rest of D-Youth had to say goodbye, you made sure to wave in their direction, throwing in some rolled up shirts that the staff had prepared as a closing activity for all of you, the two group that you noticed had contrasting reactions but it was still satisfying.
The loud screams coming from three blond boys, one having an undercut, a guy with long black hair, a guy with a tattoo on his head and a smiling guy with orange curly hair being the loudest when you threw them some shirts.
As for when you threw some shirts in the direction of the other group, they had all silently reached above the crowd’s heads, their tall stature making itself known as they easily snatched up the flying shirts heading towards them. You noticed the way the two brothers, you assumed, and a tall guy with a blond streak on his hair had smirked down on the others in the crowd while the white haired guy had only silently held onto the shirt, eyes meeting yours.
It takes you a second too long for you to break eye contact with him, stare too intense but you managed to force it off when your cousin pulled you towards the middle of the stage so that all of you can take a bow to the crowd, thanking the staffs and the audience who had helped with making the concert happen.
“Thank you everyone! Thank you for supporting D-Youth! We promise to give you more music in the future! We love you all!” You said the closing remarks as the lights started to dim, your cousins running off to the back as you jog along, your fist making contact with your best friend and manager, Ahna’s fist as she gives you a fist bump.
“Good work out there. The crowd loved it, now let’s go back to the hotel.” Her voice is hushed as she quickly ushers you to the back room where your cousins had started taking off their masks, you’re about to follow, fingers already moving towards the thick clasp under your hair but then, Ahna’s hand stops you.
“We need to go now before the crowd outside of the venue gets too big. They’ll be opening the exits in 10 minutes so we need to hurry. And don’t take your masks off.” Ahna makes all of you hurry, fingers forcefully pushing you towards the exit, putting a little too much force in the push as she almost pushes you to the wall, her eyes glaring at all of you as she hisses under her breath.
“Hurry! We don’t have time!” The edge in her voice makes you uneasy, an icky feeling crawling under your still sweaty skin, your mind throbbing from the sudden change of pace from the concert to this backstage shenanigan that your best friend has decided to put you through. You’re about to ask one of your cousins, hoping to talk to one of them to ease your nerves from the way Ahna is making you all anxious but as you take a glance behind you, fully expecting to see your fellow members but instead, you can only see some of the bodyguards.
“Ahna, why are you in such a hurry? We usually leave 30 minutes after. Where are the other-”
“We don’t have time! If you don’t want to come with me, then fine! I’ll leave you there in the waiting room to get to the hotel room by yourself!”
The way she aggressively nudges your back makes your irritation rise ahead of the uneasiness as you roll your eyes at her, her nails painfully pushing itself onto your arm’s skin..
Scoffing, you turn around, ripping her arm off of you as the fatigue from the concert gets to you the more she makes you feel paranoid with her actions. “What is your problem?! Why are you in such a hurry?! What the fuck are you planning-”
Before you can continue screaming your tired voice out, you feel a sharp pain shoot through your body as you feel a buzz before your vision turns to black, the last thing you see in Ahna’s irritated face as she looks down at your falling figure, her hands painfully gripping your arms as she gives you a sneer.
“I fucking told you to hurry, bitch.”
A groan leaves your mouth when you finally start gaining consciousness. The sharp throb coming from the back of your head is making it harder for you to come to, eyelids a little heavy and your stage mask that’s still on your face is making it harder for you to look up, the extra weight feeling like a hundred tons after getting hit on the head. Though it seems that your groan has alerted who ever was in the room that you’re finally awake since someone decided to aggressively grab onto your hair, the tug making it seem like someone’s stabbing knives into your skull as you’re forced to look up, the blinding lights making it look like the figure in front of you had a halo surrounding them. But the more you look, the more the halo looks like the fire from hell as Ahna’s scowling face finally clears up from your hazy gaze.
“That took a while, to think that the leader of Scorpion is that weak that they’ll get knocked out with one hit.” She mocks, fingers expertly twirling a gun in front of you while she twirls around the chair that you’re tied to, mumbling and giggling to someone on the phone. “Maybe you shouldn’t be the leader of Scorpion. What do you think? Hmm? Mind stepping down and letting little ‘ol me take your place?”
She leans forward, face only a few inches from yours as she looks you in the eyes through your mask. “Tell me what you think, dolly. What kind of expression do you have under your little mask? Are you mad right now? Seething? Or do you just want to go back to your fancy ass hotel, take some nice bubble baths like the spoiled rich brat you are? Hiding behind your mask just ‘cause you’re too scared of damaging your reputation?”
With your still hazy mind, you can only let out a soft scoff before taking a deep breath, forcing your eyes closed as you swing your head down, forehead making contact with her nose as she yelps, her gun clattering to the floor as Ahna starts cursing you out, hands cradling her now bleeding nose while she stumbles backwards.
The guards, who you’re now starting to notice as some of the new recruits of Scorpion, all jump into action, guns pointed at your tied form, waiting for Ahna’s words to shoot you.
“You fucking bitch! I was planning on going easy on you but you leave me no choice.” Hastily taking the gun on the floor, she points at your leg before shooting.
You hiss out a curse, eyeing your bleeding thigh as the bullet lodges itself on your flesh, blood starting to flow down your leg as you take a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down from the excruciating pain that’s added to the already sharp throb of your head.
“You should’ve just listened to me, now look where your stubbornness got you.” Stuffing a tissue in her nose, she wipes the blood on her hands on your shirt as she gestures at the guards to remove the black tarp from behind her. “Now you’re gonna have to step out of your position by force.”
The guards finally managed to remove the black tarp in front of you, your eyes widening when you’re met with your cousins all tied up, their masks laying on their laps as they struggle out of their bindings, though it’s no use since they’re only hurting themselves due to the rough ropes. When they see you’re bleeding form, their eyes widen, gasps leaving their lips as they shout for you.
It takes a few more seconds of them shouting for you when Ahna had enough, her gun pointed at one of your cousins before shooting once more.
A distorted scream leaves your mouth as you watch the way the blood splatter on the floor, Azumi’s head dropping to the side, a huge gaping hole in her neck gushing out blood onto her chest.
Your cousins all froze in fear, eyes staring wildly at you as all of you listen to Ahna’s maniacal laughter as she presses something on her phone before showing it to you. The screen shows a man in a suit, a bored look on his face as he gives you a mocking wave from the screen.
“Nice to see you again, Scorpion. Our last meeting wasn’t enjoyable, not with you declining my offer to merge with you little gang. But I’m glad that your vice president reached out to me and agreed to make you agree with our conditions.”
Hiding the phone from your view, she gives you a tight smile. “Now, captain, all I want is for you to agree to merging with Bermuda then after that, I’ll let you go. All I want is to hear your sweet voice agreeing with me, okay?”
A growl leaves your lips when she walks closer to you, gun pointed behind her at one of your cousins who had now frozen in fear. “You want to make Scorpion into a criminal organization. Do you know just what Bermuda’s business handles? We are not criminals. We do not exploit people, nor do we condone protitution in Scorpion, Ahna. Are you fucking insane?” You grit out, leg still trembling from the bullet wound though your fingers are hastily trying to untie the rope from your back.
“Well, that’s why Scorpion is always getting challenged by other gangs in the area, if only you’ll let me do what I want then we’ll be comfortably sitting on the top.” Tapping her gun to your cheek, you watch as she straddles your lap, hand on your cheek as she caresses the little skin exposed by the mask.
“If you don’t let me do what I want, then I might just expose your identity to the public. Think about what your loyal fans are gonna do when they find out that they’re precious idol is a mafia leader.”
You grit your teeth when her fingers trail to the back of your head, putting extra pressure on the spot where you got hit before laying her hand over the clasp of your mask.
“Of course, that’s not all, your cousins will be used as payment to Bermuda as well.”
“What do you mean? What are you going to do?” You ask, trembling irises moving to your cousins who are all silently crying pon their seat, the bodyguards surrounding them in order to make sure that they won’t be able to escape.
A giggle leaves Ahna’s lips when she looks at your cousins. “That’s simple. If you don’t wanna agree to what I have to say then this is what will happen to them.”
Raising the gun, she gives you a little wink before another loud bang resonates around the area, a shiver rolling down your spine when another one of your cousins slumps over, blood dripping down their forehead while 3 more of your cousins quiver in fear, screams leaving their throats when hot blood splatters to their arms and faces.
“Y/N! Please! Just agree with her! Don’t let her kill us!” Ayano screams at you, tears rolling down her cheeks as she struggles from her bonds but one look from one of the men in the room has her silently biting her lips, trying her best to suppress the cries.
“Don’t kill us, Y/N. Save us please. Save us. Save us. I don’t want to die. Not yet. Please.”
Their words make you anxious, mind going into overdrive the more they plead for you to save them. You don’t know what to do.
You’re not sure how you’re supposed to save them when you’re tied up right now. And even if you do agree with Ahna, then hundreds of your men will be forced to do whatever Bermuda says.
“Well? What’s your answer? We don’t have all night y’know? You have 10 minutes to decide before I eliminate the rest of the higher ups of Scorpion. You’ll be the last, leader.”
The throbbing in your head only gets worse the more you watch your cousins silently plead for you to save them, along with that, your heart is about to combust when Ahna starts playing with her gun, jokingly aiming the gun at one of your cousins as she waits for you to answer.
Breathing heavily, your thigh twitches when you look down at the bullet wound. “How long have you been planning this, Ahna?” You ask her, voice airy as you contemplate on what to do. You’re trying to get some extra time but you’re sure that Ahna sees right through you.
After being your friend since you guys were 8 and having spent most of your days with her creating Scorpion and her being the manager for D-Youth, you can’t help but feel betrayal course through your aching body when you realize that she might have been planning this betrayal for at least a few months now.
“Hmm... I’ve been thinking of taking over Scorpion ever since we created it actually, but since the members all followed you like you’re some kind of Pied Piper, I had no other choice but to go with it. I had to listen to your sickeningly sweet tune for years, Y/N. I’m so tired of following you...”
You remain silent, not sure on what to do now that you know just how deep her hatred for you runs. And to think that you always treated her as your sister.
“So, you gonna hand Scorpion over or do I have to blow a few more brains before you agree.?”
Swallowing, you let out a deep breath before reluctantly nodding your head. “I’ll step down from my position, just don’t hurt them anymore. They don’t have anything to do with this.”
She rolls her eyes at you, clicking her tongue as she motions for her men to untie you. “They have a lot of shit to do with this, they’re the ones you talked to when you declined Bermuda’s offer. You wasted such a perfectly good offer, we could’ve been ruling over the rest of Japan if you had only agreed, stupid bitch.”
As she talks, two men start approaching you, a knife in their hands as they start cutting the roped by binding your feet and wrists. While they do this, you start to prepare yourself, trying your best to ignore the painful throb on your head and the still gushing wound on your thigh.
As much as you’d like to trust Ahna’s words, you have a bad feeling about what she’s about to do, especially when she starts approaching your struggling cousins who are still bound to their chairs.
“Well, now that you’ve agreed to step down as leader, I guess I don’t have to listen to whatever you say, right?”
She doesn’t give you time to react before she presses her gun against your cousin’s neck before pressing the trigger.
A scream rips out of your mouth, your body quickly moving towards Ahna but the men from behind you quickly cages you against their arms, one of them putting you in a chokehold as you’re forced to watch Ahna shoot the last of your cousins, a cackle leaving her mouth when she turns around to see you sobbing against her men, face turning blue from the lack of oxygen.
You try your best to kick them away but one of the men shoves the knife to your already wounded thigh which makes you stop your struggle. Your fingers are gripping onto their arm as tight as possible.
“Put her down, I’ll take care of her.”
Your body drops to the floor, your hands grasping your neck as you take in as much air as you can. Your chest heaves as you try to soothe your burning lungs but when you try to look up, you’re met with a kick to the face.
You hear a crack before your mask falls to the floor in front of you, the intricate mask sporting a crack in the middle.
“You know, I don’t know if I should pity you for trusting me so easily. You really think that I’ll let you leave this place alive? Tsk. I’m not stupid y’know? I know that once news gets out that you’ve stepped down from leader, then the rats of Scorpion will all leave and follow you wherever you go. And I can’t have that. I need all of the current members to be with me when we merge with Bermuda.”
It gets harder for you to breathe when you feel a liquid flowing down your nose, blood staining your fingers when you wipe it off of your lips. You struggle to stand up, your wounded thigh burning so much that you wince at just the slight movement. The knife still impaled into your flesh and it only gets worse when Ahna’s foot rests on the hilt of the knife, further pushing the blade into you.
“Now, let me take this time to say goodbye to you-”
“What the fuck are you doing?!”
Suddenly, new voices can be heard from what you think is the entrance of the warehouse. In a second, all of the men that were once surrounding you are now all rushing towards the new people who have decided to barge in.
Taking this as your chance to get away, you used all of your remaining strength and pushed Ahna to the ground, your body desperately moving as you ripped the gun from her hand before pressing it against her forehead now that she’s also on the floor like you.
Your blood drips down your nose and onto her cheek as you heavily breathe on top of her, trembling fingers caging her wrists under you as you straddle her stomach. “I’ll make you pay, Ahna. I’ll make sure you regret ever thinking of taking my family away from me, I’ll make sure of it.”
“Oh yeah? What’s you gonna do? Shoot me? You’re gonna be a criminal as well? See how your fans like it if they find out that you just shot someone to deat-”
The barrel of the gun makes contact with her cheek as you slapped the gun onto her face, anger boiling underneath your skin as you throw the gun away before proceeding to punch her face. Over and over and over again.
Even with your bleeding thigh sending jolts of pain through your body everytime you move, you just ignore it. Your fists are the only thing moving as you make sure that after you’re done, she won’t be recognizable anymore.
With every hit you make, you make sure that the rings that you’re wearing hits the most sensitive parts of her face.
A punch to the eye.
A punch on the nose.
A punch to the side of the head.
Your other hand also unconsciously grips her neck as you lean down, beyond exhausted as you try your best to stay conscious. Your mind is already swirling from the stress and adrenaline that you’ve been put through in such a short time. Along with that, you can feel the concussion on your head getting worse the more you force yourself awake.
“You’ll pay for this, Ahna. I’ll make sure you do.”
You don’t notice the way the fight around you has stopped, your only focus is on Ahna who’s now barely opening her eyes, blood seeping to her clothes from the cuts on her cheek, lips, nose and eyes.
Struggling to stand up, you lean on your good knee as you heave, trembling hands wiping the blood on your knuckles on your clothes as you looked down at your bleeding companion.
“I’ve already won. Your little doll facade is ruined, Y/N, no one will willingly follow your tune anymore. You’re not gonna be able to make it out aliv-”
A swift kick to the head knocks her out as you stumble a bit, losing your balance after kicking her on the head.
Your vision starts to get blurry, the surroundings swirling as you look around.
You’re met with a handful of men, all of them watching you as you try to straighten your body. Your fingers graze over part of your broken mask when you almost fall over, hand trembling as you press the mask to your face in a desperate attempt to cover your now exposed identity, a heavy feeling spreading in your chest as you offer them a smile.
“Well then, are you guys here for an autograph?”
You don’t hear any of their replies for your vision immediately turns to black, body going numb before you even realize what’s happening.
A handful of voices can be heard from around you, it feels as if they’re surrounding you as you struggle to open your eyes. Your whole body feels so heavy and your throat feels so dry that you almost want to cough but just opening your mouth already feels like such a struggle that you just let yourself suffer in silence. Hoping that any second now, you’ll finally be able to open your eyes and put a face to the voices that’s whispering around you.
It feels like a few more hours before you finally manage to slowly open your eyes.
Thankfully, the room isn’t bright so you don't get blinded the moment you start looking around, but you are met with a lot of hushed whispers as you’re finally met with a bunch of familiar looking faces, though your brain is still too tired for you to actually remember thei rnames.
“Y/N!” Slowly, you crane your neck to the side to be met by Azuka, your secretary in Scorpion. She hastily makes her way to you, the crowd of men making way as they all silently watch as Azuka checks on you. “Thank God you’re awake. You’ve been sleeping for a whole day and I didn’t know what to do since when we arrived in the warehouse, it was covered in bodies and you were covered in blood.” She had hastily explained to you as she helped you sit up, a sharp pain coursing through your veins when you accidentally moved your left thigh a little too abruptly.
“What about... what about my cousins? And Ahna? What happened to them? Are they safe?” You asked, voice raspy. Azuka hands you a glass of water before taking a seat by your side.
“Ahna has been taken to one of our warehouses, she’s being questioned by the others and Bermuda has sent us another proposal. While your cousins... they’re all at their parents’ house.” Relief starts to spread in your body until her next words register in your head. “Their funerals will be at the end of the week.”
Maybe it’s because your body is still filled with pain relievers, but you don’t feel a thing, the only thing leaving you is a sigh as you slump on the headboard.
Twiddling with your thumbs, your eyes catch the remnants of your broken mask. Suddenly, you remember the group of men that you saw after you had kicked Ahna.
Looking up, you watch as Azuka waves the bodyguards out of the room, about to walk to the connected kitchen of your room but then, you call out to her. “How did you know where I was?”
Turning around, she takes her phone from her pocket and shows you the call history. “Someone called me from your phone and when we arrived, there were like 20 men waiting there while they were all just watching you. I managed to ask for their contacts and said that I’ll be sending some thank you gifts and some contracts that they should sign in order to make sure that they won’t be spreading word of your identity or whatever they saw.”
Nodding, you can’t help but feel worried when the reality of the situation finally kicked in.
Your cousins are all dead which means that there might be news articles about it and D-Youth will have to ‘disband’.
Your identity has been exposed and not only that, school is about to start and since you;ve always had your identity hidden, you had opted into attending a normal highschool. What if the 20 or so boys had decided to just spread whatever they saw? What are you going to do?
Lastly, Scorpion will most likely be on a bit of a war with Bermuda after what happened with your members. You’re sure that the rest of Scorpion will not let something like this pass.
Azuka comes back from the kitchen, a bowl of hot porridge being ste on the table beside you as she starts wiping the sweat on your forehead.
“What are you planning on doing now, leader?”
Biting your lip, you look out the window, the night view of the city filled with glittering and colourful lights from the signs. “Call for a meeting tomorrow, we need to handle the Bermuda conflict as soon as possible before it gets any bigger.”
Azuka nods, already taking her phone out in order to call the division captains. But before she can leave, you raise your hand. “And give me the contact numbers of the boys that you found waiting in the warehouse.”
“Understood.”
Awkwardly, you give the group a smile, not at all used to meeting fans, you assume they are judging from the photocards in their phone, without your mask covering your face, but here you are, in one of your group’s cover business. A cafe in the middle of the busy city. Though you have opted to meet the group in a private and hidden room of the cafe, it’s still quite unnerving seeing as at least half of them are staring at you in awe while the other half looks so smug or indifferent.
“Thank you for agreeing to meet with me here even though it’s quite unexpected.” You start off, not really knowing what to say when they all just stare at you, not at all making a move to help fill up the silence. They’re just... hanging onto every word you say.
“Uhm, uh... thank you again for helping me the other night with my... situation... and for calling Azuka for me. I don’t know what would’ve happened if you guys weren’t there to help me.”
Again, you offer them an awkward smile.
Why aren’t they talking?
Why aren’t they answering you?
This is getting too awkward and you’re sure you must look disgusting with all the sweat forming on your forehead right now from how intense their stares are.
Clearing your throat, you decide that you might as well finish this as fast as possible. To save yourself and them from this unwanted atmosphere.
“Right, uh, I know that Azuka had already sent you guys the contract. I know that it seems a little too much of a hassle but I’ll really appreciate it if you guys would read and sign it. And uh, I’ll be sending in some monetary gifts as a thank you.”
Again, all of them are just staring at you, some slightly nodding at your words while the others just subtly smile, not really sure on what they’re supposed to do when they might just be the only fans who have seen your face. It feels like someone had just given them a hundred million.
Their hearts feel like they’re about to explode whenever you’d smile at them but that same feeling dies just as fast when you start standing up, bowing at the group as you say your goodbyes.
“Thank you once more, I will make sure that the gifts will be sent as soon as possible-” You bow to them, just about ready to leave when the silver-haired guy, you think his name was Mitsuya, reached out his hand, eyes wide and panic showing in his beautiful irises.
“No, no, please don’t leave yet!” His words must’ve shocked him as well ‘cause he quickly retracts his hand and sits down, closing his eyes tight and a silent groan leaving his lips wen he just realized that he just pleaded for his idol to not leave after giving her more than a few minutes of awkward silence from him and his friends.
Thankfully, some of the others who weren’t as starstruck took this as an opportunity to have you stay longer as well.
“We’re sorry if we were silent all this time, we’re just a little starstruck... “ Draken starts, a smile gracing his lips while a hand scratches the side of his neck.
Mikey and Baji nod at what Draken said, a shy smile on all of their faces when you start to sit down once more, a smile slowly growing on your lips as you nod at them in understanding.
“We’re just not sure on how to act since we never really thought that we’ll be able to meet you, much more, without your mask and all that.” Kakucho explains after Izana silently nudges him from under the table.
“Ah, that’s alright, I know that it must be a little shocking, witnessing all of those things after a concert.” You offer them a smile, this time, it’s a little less forced.
You mentioning what happened the other night sparked a thought in Baji’s mind.
“Uh, if you don’t mind me asking, now that the other members of D-Youth are... gone... what will you do with the group now?”
The long-haired brunette almost lets out a hiss when he felt Mikey kick him from under the table but he just ignored the blond for now, opting to look at you as you start to answer.
Playing with the tips of your hair, you let out a hum. “Well, I’m not yet sure on how we’ll go about telling the media about this, if we’ll let them know the truth or just lie, but the group will most definitely not continue anymore since it won’t be the same without my cousins as my members.”
Disappointment flashes in some of their chests as they gaze down on their hands, a little down from the news that you won’t be an idol anymore but they understand. It must be really difficult for you to still be managing all of these while grieving your family’s death after what seems to be a betrayal from your manager.
“Though in a few years, I might just become a solo singer, who knows.” You offer a small smile after noticing the way they all seemed down from your words from earlier.
You received a handful of relieved smiles as they looked at you once more.
“Well then, I know that this is abrupt, but I do need to go now since there’s some business that I have to take care of but if you want, we can all meet up once more when I bring some gifts?”
They all nod at your words, some saying a few short words of affirmation but it seems some of them has something else to say.
“Uhm, I don’t know if this is too much to ask, but instead of uh, monetary gifts, will it be alright if you just gave us…” Chifuyu looks to the side, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed when you look him straight in the eye. His hand quickly shoving his phone under the table when your eyes start to trail to the photocard of yourself in his phone.
Though thankfully, it seems he’s not the only one who’s got the same idea for the two pair of siblings pulled out their phones and opened it into a list, the older set of siblings a little less shameless.
“Would it be alright if you gave us some merch instead? Signed ones, if possible.” Ran bargains, an easy smile on his lips as he takes Rindou’s phone and scrolls through his notes before handing the phone to you, his younger brother silently protesting as a blush starts forming on Rindou’s cheeks from his brother’s shamelessness.
Smiley does the same, aggressively taking Angry’s phone and going to the albums where a certain album named ‘Future <3’ can be seen which is filled with some photos of rare signed albums, photo cards and posters.
A surprised giggle leaves your lips when you reluctantly take the phones that are being handed to you.
You can see a long list of what seems to be your merch on Rindou’s phone, along with Ran’s. While for the twins, you look through the pictures, some had signed albums that were released two years ago, the others were the mixtapes that were released before the debut.
It’s embarrassing for you, having to see pictures of merch with your face on it, even though your face is covered by the mask.
Though it seems that your lack of negative reactions have spurred the others to do the same.
Some pulled their phones out as well while the others offered you a list from their wallet.
“I’m sorry if this is a little too pretentious of us.” Hina apologizes to you while shyly handing her phone to you.
“It’s just that, even if we do have money to buy your merch, the problem is that it’s so hard to actually find them in the market since everyone wants them so much.” The guy with sharp eyes, Kokonoi, says, a pink blush on his cheeks as he looks away from you, his friend silently nodding from the side.
Your head feels like it’s overheating from the long lists filled with code names that you’re not even aware of. Just how much content did the company release for D-Youth? You don’t even remember filming so many things nor do you remember half of the shoots that were used for these photo cards.
When did Summer Package Japan even happen? And what’s with so many photo cards being here?
What’s so important about your picture that’s the size of an ID?
But still, it’s not like you can just openly question their desires. So, you just nod and hand their phones and list back.
“Uhm, I don’t know when I’ll be able to get all of that ready but just to make sure that I’ll be able to give you guys those... uhh, those merch? You can like, send an email to Azuka and I’ll have someone make sure that when I meet you guys again, it’ll all be complete.”
The way they all had bright grins or smiles on their faces made the semi-awkward feeling in your body disappear as you gave them a nod. Taking this as your time to leave once more since it seems as if their concerns have been dealt with but you guessed wrong for Izana immediately stands up.
“Before you leave, will it be alright if we have a picture? I promise I won’t post it anywhere. I already signed the contract and I don’t plan on breaking it.” The white-haired boy slightly bows as he hands you his phone.
Not knowing how to say ‘no’ to their request, you just accept the request and watch as all of them start to line up, the next person in line acting as the camera man as you posed for each picture.
Izana had shyly placed his arm around your shoulder before posing for the picture.
It had shocked you for a bit and you felt bad when Izana had looked at you in concern but you brush it off with a smile and decided to suck it up and just try to naturally act as you would during a fan meeting.
Mikey, who somehow had some fresh cookies with him, had handed you half of the cookie. The two of you posed with the cookies in between the two of you, kinda acting as a heart from what you guessed, Draken was also with the two of you and instead of going along with the cookie bit, he just smiled at the camera and held up a heart with his hands.
The next was Mitsuya and Hakkai who had stood on both of your sides. The two quickly moved along, a little shy from how close the three of you were but you didn’t have time to think about it since you’re already having to pose for the next people. This time, it’s the colourful twins.
Souya could barely look at the camera as his twin forced him to hold your hand like Nahoya was doing. You had lifted up your hands so that your hands will be seen in the picture as you joyfully smiled at the phone.
Hina and Takemichi were next, the girl quickly going for a hug while Takemichi awkwardly followed along. Hina had whispered a thank you to you while Takemichi could only wait for Hina to move along for Chifuyu, Kazutora and Baji to finally have their turn.
The trio had wanted for the four of you to pose like how your group did whenever you’d introduce yourself in a show and so, you did the hand pose, the four of you all in a line as you smiled at the camera like how you would during a TV show.
The Haitani Brothers were the next as they moved to your side, Ran handing you a baton and asking if you could pose with it. You agreed and so, you’re now pointing the baton at the camera, a smirk on your lips as you try your best to not look awkward while the brothers pose next to you as well.
Lastly, Hanma and Kakucho went to your side, the two silently smiling at the camera, their hands hovering on your shoulder and waist.
It may have taken at least 20 minutes for the mini fan meeting to end, but after that, you were quite exhausted and your mouth a little strained from smiling so much. The awkward poses also left your limbs feeling weird but you pushed the thoughts aside as you bowed to the group once more, all of them doing the same as you start putting on your mask the moment the door opened, Azuka immediately greeting you as she does so.
“Azuka, do you mind giving them an email that they can communicate with? I’ll be waiting in the car.” You quietly tell her before heading out of the cafe, waving your hand as you watch some of them watching you from the door.
Once you’re safely in the car, you turn to the driver, a division captain of Scorpion. “Hey, do you know what Black Swan theme 3 photo card mean?”
A girl walked into the chaos, black sports bra hugging her breasts in the best way possible, defined stomach on display and loose black sweatpants hanging from her hips.
She was breath-taking, everyone could say that. But she also was intimidating; bright red eyes stared dully at her opponents, the cold gaze making them shiver. Long/short hair down and fists cracking, ready to take lives if it was necessary.
(Y/n) (Y/l/n), one of the founders of Tokyo's Manji Gang, and leader of the sixth division, she was also know as the healer. From her mother, she learned the abilities of tending people when they were hurt.
The guys who were fighting with Manji stopped in their tracks slightly, taking a look at her form, before getting punched by their contrincant, as they saw the opportunity of distraction.
(Y/n) spotted Smiley in the croud, laughing and beating up a poor guy who couldn't fight back. What the boy didn't notice was that there was another guy behind him, raising a bat at the back of his head, and when he was about to strike, (Y/n) grabbed the top of the wooden weapon, preventing it from making contact, tugged the bat so the guy got closer to her, and punched his gut with a lot of force, sending the guy flying back, his nose dripping with a red liquid she learned to familiarize with.
Smiley turned back after he defeated his contrincant and his smile got even wider (if that was possible).
"Thanks, (y/n)" he said, rubbing the back of his head and bowing.
(Y/n) smiled back.
"No need to do that, Nahoya-san, i was just trying to not see you at the infirmary tonight"
Smiley laughed bashfuly, his cheeks heating up so slightly, remembering how (y/n) tended his wounds the other night.
"Yeah, sorry for that" his smile never dissaparing from his pretty face. His salmon curls shining under the moonlight.
Everything seemed to stop, as they stared at each other. The screams of agony were not heard, as their bodies crashed together in a hug. At this position, Smiley managed to get a punch right onto the man who was lunging at them in the face, and (y/n)'s new bat got down onto someone's top of the head, making them both faint.
