grayson was really really really really nervous when he proposed like bro had 2 panic attacks that nash had to calm him down from
they’d been dating for around 5-6ish years so lyra was like 24-25 and gray was 27-28
he proposed in paris at night after one of her shows. it was kinda deserted because it was super late at night and they were alone and basically he said some poetic shit then got down on one knee and asked
when she said yes they both started crying
the wedding was on hawthorne island (after everything clears up maybe (dont come for me))
the main ceremony was in the ballroom and it was like masquerade themed
the twins were flower girls

her dress was pretty simple, but it was princess styled AND it was dark red and her mask was black and gold
grayson’s best man was nash and lyra’s maid of honour was her childhood best friend
grayson cried when she walked down the aisle, just teared up, nothing big. but she cried too
they danced to young and beautiful
it was so beautiful that everyone started crying
grayson also did a small dance with lyra’s lil bro
at the wedding they had a section of tables w chess and playing cards for people who didnt wanna dance
tiramisu was the ring holder
nash’s speech at the wedding made EVERYONE cry
after everyone left they just both hummed iris at the same time and slow danced together in the dark with dim lights for a while
like halfway through lyra took her heels off and grayson held them the whole time
keith cornered grayson and gave him a lecture on taking care of his baby girl and zara AND alisa AND acacia did the same to lyra
after the ceremony they walked down the shore of the beach together for a while and just held hands. lyra was a bit tipsy and they talked about their future, the possibility of kids and their names, how many, and they sort of planned out their whole future as a joke (none of it came true except the kids lmao)
the ring was a simple one with a red diamond in the middle, because lyra had always told him that if they did get married, she didn’t want a super heavy ring or anything, but he couldn’t resist getting her a special jewel in the middle
they took the wedding night SLOW. they laid in their room and watched a movie and ate food and then lyra was like “shouldnt we have sex or something?” and grayson was like “fuck yes” and the rest was history
