The Oscar moving to Monaco behind the smokeshow of Charles adopting him fiasco is so Oscar!!
It’s literally like 5+1 fanfic of five times it should have been obvious: let’s break it down!
1. Oscar spent time in Monaco before the Imola grand-prix. Sure he was wakeboarding and taking pictures of his Monaco helmet but he didn’t HAVE to do it in Monaco. There’s boats in other parts of the world too. That is unless it was conveniently close to home.
2. He tweets that he’s searching his family tree for any trace of Monegasque routes THEN replies to THAT tweet the the pictures of him on a walk with the caption ‘Exploring my new home’
of course we all assume he’s joking!
3. At the livery reveal, during an interview the interviewer talks about Lando being a resident of Monaco. Lando gestures to Oscar and the interviewer references Oscar’s social media posts and asks if he’s moving in? (Obviously asked as a joke) Oscar replies “Yes I’m also a resident now.” And it’s taken as a joke!
4. In an interview Oscar then mentions that he slept in his own bed last night but everyone just assumes that he must have flown in early in the morning. You really think this man? who will roll out of bed a late as he physically can? would choose to stay in his own bed in England then wake up super early to catch a flight over staying in a hotel close to track? No!
5. He then takes part in the Canal+ interview for Monaco residents (This should have been obvious but he’d cried Wolf so many times that people didn’t know if it was real or just another part of the meme.)
(Also can we just appreciate that he didn’t want to call Lando out and would rather not answer the question even though we ALL ALREADY KNOW Lando is the biggest club goer on the grid.)
It was only after multiple news sources confirmed it did people start talking about it and by then then the news was 2 weeks old!
Whenever Morgan comes back they act like no one has seen him. And obviously the actors might not have seen him but let's be real the characters in this fictional reality. Why are we trying to act like Auntie Penelope wouldn't have been in the house every weekend. Why are we trying to act like Fairy Godmother/Auntie Penelope doesn't shower her God children with love and sparkles and presents every chance she gets (which is cannon). Morgan would make Reid come out and meet him for a drink to get out the house and away from the books.
When Hotch left, when Emily came back and took over. When Alvarez first showed up and him and Penelope didn't get along. Morgan would have been fielding phone calls, holding hands and helping everyone cope and you cannot convince me otherwise.
We have spent the entirety of this show establishing this group is not just a team they are a family which means they all would have seen Morgan on the regular even when he left the FBI.
It's been a while. The past couple of months have been filled with a variety of illnesses/surveys/hospitals/deadlines/dear gods so many deadlines/birthdays (not mine)/weird sleep patterns/broken boilers/leaky roofs/cancelled flights/unwanted social commitments/etc. I've been feeling pretty burnt out.
Plus all of my time spent not dealing with that nonsense has been dedicated to ploughing through BG3, which I just finished! Huzzah! My PS5 tells me my first playthrough took 178 hours, but I don't think that includes all of my save-scumming re-rolls and rewatches of... certain scenes. And you know what? It would've been double that if there was any hint of photomode (or at least a pause feature).
Still, there's my first Tav. And it's time to resume.
Wow golly I’m late to this but recently found @walkinredinstead and decided HEY I’M AUTISTIC AND WEIRD LET’S TRY!
So day 10 (aka the day I’m writing this) is how & when I found out I was autistic.
If I’m perfectly honest, I kind of always knew. A close family member studied mentally/physically disabled kids and how to take care of them. She was taught symptoms, dos and don'ts, all that stuff. When I came along, she knew quite quickly that I was autistic. I was raised understanding that I wasn’t like the others.
It was always sticking in the back of my mind even though I hadn’t had a diagnosis, I knew I was different, I knew I wasn’t like the rest. Yet I was treated like the rest.
About a year ago now I was asked by my therapist, once getting confirmation through multiple conversations, if I wanted a diagnosis. At first, I was confused, like, why wouldn’t I want a diagnosis. She explained to me that some of her other autistic patients don’t want a diagnosis under the belief that then people would have a reason to not talk to them/deny them from opportunities.
I decided to get a diagnosis. I doubt people will deny me of jobs or something similar, I am an intelligent person in most topics.
Social interaction is not one of those topics.
To sum up; I kind of always knew, I was raised knowing it. I just didn’t have a name for it until later.

“How did you get him down?” Max asked curiously.
Oscar shrugged. “Oh I didn’t really do anything, I just talked to him.”
“Did you tell him how good he was doing?” Max replied in jest before his eyes suddenly widened. “Oh my god. Lando? did you just praise kink your way through the high ropes course?”
Or, Oscar meets Lando on an adventure holiday and they have a summer fling.
