i love vala and even though she may only have gotten one scene but i truly couldn't ask for more because the one scene was so wild. what the fuck were they cooking (affectionate)
the casual one-shotting the rest of the heartless. the eyesight jokes. the anime glasses gleam followed by IMMEDIATELY spouting cryptic shit. the pitch for recruiting urd being to 1) tell her that she's been watching her for a while, 2) go off on a complete tangent and START DANCING instead of answering perfectly reasonable questions like 'what is your quest that you want me to help you with', and 3) just say 'i expected more obedience' when pressed.
AND THEN vali drops down from the ceiling, chucks the rose at urd without much explanation, AND THEN. WE PAN OVER TO XEHANORT IN THE CORNER.
