both of them do. for now, most of the advice comes from evelyn, though once she’s out and able to let everyone know about her relationship, it’ll be a two way street

neither of them actually cheat, but evelyn will still try to throw off her cousin sometimes. if anyone employs this tactic, it tends to be one of her brothers

it’s pretty evenly split for both starting and winning them, and they get very into it and chase each other around the house half the time

neither of them, though they sometimes hold hands and gaze at each other lovingly when they’re asked too many times in one day

logan would probably be bailing dia out of jail, though in reality they’d be bailing out max together

logan was the only one in a serious relationship, and definitely turned to dia for some help once in a while, but really it’s ally who’s storing up a bunch of advice for her brother to use when the time finally comes

both of them do this. dia goes for covering his eyes more often, as logan likes to move game pieces out of reach of her shorter arms once she starts

Wren would very much like to win an Academy Award. This wish is two-parted, as she would obviously appreciate anyone considering her acting that impressive, but also because no openly gay woman has ever won Best Actress or Best Supporting Actress, and she wants to prove that it can be done.

→: is my muse any good with directions?

She’s good with them once she knows an area. Before she familiarizes herself with a place, she’s only mediocre. Wren tends to find her way, but it might take a few wrong turns if she’s never been nearby.

☯: is my muse more idealistic or cynical?

She’s started to veer more toward cynicism as she’s gotten older. As a child, Wren was fairly idealistic, but slowly became a more and more realistic person, both as she considered the reality of what leaving school to pursue an acting career would mean, and as she worked on how open she wished to be about her sexuality. Throughout the years, she’s definitely begun to lean toward being cynical, yet she is by no means a pessimist.

✿: is my muse an outdoors person?

Not especially. Wren loves spending time outside, from taking walks to eating outdoors. Still, she’s not too keen on spending days in the woods, especially because she is very prone to receiving bug bites.

♉: is my muse prone to jealousy?

She does not tend to get very jealous. If things don’t seem to work out well either professionally or personally, she turns to wondering what she should have done to improve the situation more often than she falls into jealousy. There was a short period in her life, early in her career, when she was between jobs and didn’t have a lot of friends nearby, when she felt jealous of people whom she felt had it easier than she did. It didn’t take long for Wren to decide everyone struggles with something and focus on getting her life together instead of dwelling on what other people were doing.

not remembering the answer to a genuine food inquiry

It’s the generic ringtone that came with the phone. Once in a while, his kids sneak into his phone and change it to something crazy, but after several calls, he gets Dani to help him figure out how to put it back to the default.

Pete would very much like to have a fourth child. However, though he knows Dani does, too, he feels it’s important for them to think through the practicality of raising a fourth kid before rushing into it. He’s pretty much 100% persuaded by now.

His children are what make him proudest, and seeing them become well-rounded makes him incredibly satisfied. He likes to think most of that was Dani, but he still feels very accomplished, especially when friends or parents of his kids’ friends compliment them to him.

☢: something my muse is afraid of

Though he doesn’t speak of it much, he’s scared of not doing the right thing when it comes to raising Oliver in a way that makes his son comfortable, accepted, and happy.

⌘: was my muse good in school?

He did fairly well, and studied diligently most of the time, but was by no means brilliant.

♈: the most daring thing your muse has ever done

Pete’s not an especially daring man, but he likes to think informing his parents he was going to marry a Jewish woman and there was nothing they could do about it was pretty brave.

♉: is my muse prone to jealousy?

He is not, though it took him quite a while to finally accept Dani wasn’t going to decide to move onto better things one day.

He’s not jealous of people who have seemingly done more in life, either. Pete is pleased with how far he’s come in his job, and he would take his children over a boring yet seemingly “better” job any day.

when one of the kids at camp falls and begins to cry

seeing Dia or his siblings upset

when a friend or family member doesn’t love something he cooks for them

✝: any religious beliefs my muse has

Logan is agnostic. His mother was raised to very involved Catholic parents, but his father was barely ever encouraged to go to church as a child, and his parents felt no strong ties to any specific type of Christianity. Though Petra raised Naomi as a Catholic as both of the girl’s parents are Catholics, she was not strict with her upbringing. When Petra and Frank married, they decided they would raise all of their future children without any specific religion. Instead, they introduced all three of their kids to various faiths and allowed them to learn about any practices they wish and choose whether or not to subscribe to one. In the end, Logan decided he could not come down on one side or the other when it came to the existence of a higher power.

When he discovered gods existed because his best friend was a demigod, he pretty much gave up on understanding religion of any kind.

After many years of making them with his mother, he finally managed to make papas rellenas by himself that received her approval, and that of her parents.

→: is my muse any good with directions?

Logan is surprisingly good with directions, albeit not fantastic. This is partially because, as the oldest child, he was always tasked with looking at maps when the family went on road trips.

♏: something my muse obsesses over

It’s a tie between his determination to perfect original recipes and live a healthy lifestyle (which, when you consider it, is probably a good thing since they balance one another).

♓: my muse’s biggest secret

The fact that he’s asexual definitely takes the cake there, though Dia does know. After that, and on a related note, is probably the reasoning behind his breakup with Megan, including all of the awkward time they spent apart before finally talking.

whenever she feels as though she’s disappointing her father

accidentally hurting someone in practice because of her lack of control

not being able to help a friend

✝: any religious beliefs my muse has

Elodie is Catholic. Chris Taggart was a loosely practicing Episcopalian when he met his wife, and converted to Catholicism before they married. When they had Elodie, they took their daughter to church every weekend in order to get her ready to make her First Communion and then for her Confirmation. Other than that, they were not a super religious family (they did not say grace before meals or pray before bed, etc.).

However, when Suzanne left the family, Elodie took to praying once in a while both for her mother to return and for her mother’s wellbeing. Her father helped her go through with her Confirmation, but in the years since, she’s relied on her faith mostly for personal prayer. Elodie has drifted away from feeling much attachment to the Catholic Church, especially because she does not agree with many of its teachings. Seeing this transition, Chris also stopped going to church quite so often, returning just to going to the occasional mass. Elodie is happy to identify as religious when asked because many of the core beliefs, along with the habit of praying when she feels it is necessary, are still there. Yet she is still figuring out to what degree she wishes to classify herself as Catholic. To her, the church holds an important tie to her childhood, her father, and her cousins. However, since there are many aspects of it she does not support, she sometimes prefers simply to label herself as a Christian or a poorly practicing Catholic.

When Elodie graduated from Wake Forest, after she had a celebration with her friends, she went home to Florida and her father hosted a small dinner for her and the Kings. Evelyn returned to her home state to join them, and Elodie hadn’t seen her father so happy in years.
