On October 2nd, I dropped by Vic West to try and get a ride in on my trusty Black Label deck and when I get to the park, it's packed.
BMX riders everywhere and Killemall Distribution is setting up a tent.
I walk up to the tent and introduce myself. As always, I have my camera bag and trusty Nikon with me. And today, I got lucky. It's not every day you get to watch, let alone photograph Pro BMX riders, and here is the team from Volume Bikes. In addition there were a number of the locals and well as top Canadian riders on hand.
So for a BMX guy, this is like Nirvana. All I could do was smile as I pulled out my Nikon.
During the course of the event I watched and photographed some of the sickest riding I have ever seen first hand. Bravo gentlemen, you made it look easy and the younger kids watching were in awe.
Here's a fluke catch - yeah I admit that. Wasn't dialled in and it was dumb luck I got it.
