-takamura did his own bass guitar decal, which is why it looks shoddy

-Kimura has gauges bc I thought it would slay

-each member of the kamogawa band has a set of leather pants with differently shaped studs that line the sides (eg. Taka has spikes, kimura has circles)

- kimura only looks composed on stage sometimes, usually he's actually a fucking mess 😃 but the entire band is a whole mess so I guess it works

Thinking of Kimura as a lover.

Kimura Tatsuya is so sweet as a lover, always wanting to treat you like a princess. Heck, at this point it’s not princess treatment anymore, it's QUEEN treatment. Since his family runs a flower shop, he’s the type of boyfriend that cherry picks the rarest flowers, the ones hard to bloom and those with special meanings to give you. He’ll arrange them beautifully in a bouquet, based on your favorite colors, fragrance, personality, everything and anything that makes you absolutely feel heard. 

Boyfriend!Kimura who buys you a cute little keychain you once said you liked at a festival months ago, a small passing moment but he remembers how upset you looked when you didn’t have your wallet on you and were unable to purchase it. It was hard to track it down again, with the original stall closing down, but in the end he finds the exact one.

Boyfriend!Kimura who freezes and blushes so hard when you visit Kamogawa Boxing Gym, he feels like his heart skipped a beat, or maybe multiple. Seeing you, his supporter, his joy, his biggest motivation to win in boxing (and in life, though you dating him he already considers it a big win), in his world? Nah… he’s so gone. He actively clutches his chest, coughing and hacking as he tries to compose himself before walking over to you. He really tries to act nonchalant but it always slips, he’s the most chalant boyfriend ever. <3

Boyfriend!Kimura who is afraid of you after his  matches. His face is completely messed up, a swollen eye, bruised cheeks, a split lip and pink marks all poorly covered in gauzes and band aids in a futile attempt. If he won he’s more excited to see you, shy of his state but proud, hoping you are too. He wants to hug you so badly but he won’t, afraid that he’ll get his sweat and blood on you. SO IF YOU DO HUG HIM? he’s completely frozen and actually takes a while before he hugs you back. “I’m gonna marry her one day…” he thinks. 

Boyfriend!Kimura who genuinely starts crying when you see him after his losses. He doesn’t mean to, he tried to keep a cool front but seeing your expression, how you genuinely care for him, it breaks down all his walls. “I really wanted to win for you…” Hug him and he’ll melt into your arms, burying his face into the crook of your neck, tears staining your shirt as your fingers rake through his hair. After a while he’ll pull back, look into your eyes and say “I’ll win next time. I can’t look uncool in front of my girlfriend, what kind of boyfriend would I be??” trying to lighten the mood. 

Boyfriend!Kimura who absolutely takes you on rides on his moped. He’s really scared of anything happening to you so he drives REALLY SLOW.

“You can go faster y’know, Tatsuya.” “And risk hurting you??? No way. Hold on tight, baby.” 

He’s so sweet with it as well, holding onto your hand the whole time, making sure you hold onto him tight. Night drives are full of laughter, songs on the radio and talks of deep subjects and the cute chubby cat you saw today.

I finished The Chariot! I love Kimura's color scheme, normally I'm very partial to red, but recently blue has been catching my eye along with pink. Pink is such a pretty color. Safe to say I had a blast coloring this one, I learned some new coloring techniques during my hiatus and employed them here. Though part of me feels this piece might be a bit too busy lol. Either way I love how it came out.

Let's show some love to Kimura while we're at it. I really hope he gets a good win soon. He's a talented boxer with good footwork, but held back by his weight class. He's gotta move up soon pleasssseeeee.

heh, this is.. corny.. WHATEVER. So as referenced in the ship ref i did, Takamura is the one who often starts the kissing, this could perhapppps be their first kiss... but he doesn't want anyone spying on em, Ippo and aokimura are there cuz they were supposed to meet each other with Takamura to speak about the next fight, they arrived early cuz most of the time Takamura isn't very great at arriving on time but.. guess they were wrong...
