So about the lmk x kindergarten au how do billy, kid, and lily meet the lmk cast???

During the Pilot at the part where DBK was full blown out destroying Megapolis the trio almost got crushed by a flying debris but MK swooped in and saved them!! (This explanation in a nutshell)

Small note— Protag, Billy, and Lily aren't the only ones in the AU by the way!! I just haven't gotten around to drawing the other kiddos
