This extensive round-up of Anne Briggs material is worth spending some time with on its own terms, but also includes a series of artists influenced by Briggs. Of Alasdair, Thomas Blake (the author is uncredited, but I'm guessing it's him) writes:
Anne actually mentioned Alasdair in a letter to me, so it seems only right that he gets a mention. I’m biased as well [we know, we approve, we are grateful]. I love his music, and he’s appeared on KLOF Mag many times. Anne said that Alasdair had sent her a tape of his songs and, in her words, “they were something very individual and special.”
