There are (often unconscious) tracks within us that dictate the direction our lives will take. Without training the self to be God-conscious, one will repeatedly fall into established negative patterns of perspective and behaviour. It is by means of a systematic approach to inner restoration that our lives are transformed. The Way seeks to make conscious that which is hidden in order to witness Him, gazing into the darkness and self-interest that dwells within.

Only two kinds of people can attain self-knowledge: those who are not encumbered at all with learning, that is to say, whose minds are not over-crowded with thoughts borrowed from others; and those who, after studying all the scriptures and sciences, have come to realise that they know nothing.
