My husband's friend was going through his garage and wanted to throw out all his old fatigues. My husband rescued them, I removed the name tapes, and I've begun a quilt project for his current and expected kids.
Took a quick break to try a new pattern, and it turned out pretty okay! Mason Jar Cup Cozy!
I found a hole in the fabric after it was completed 😭 so I hand mended the hole and covered the mend with a small Marines emblem from one of the tags lol.
Not fancy but hopefully a new and useful way to continue his old uniforms.
