can’t wait for the moment in elysian when it’s revealed that gethen is actually koralie’s secret lovechild that they callously abandoned because he was a “mistake” and had erased from their memories because they cared about their positions on the council more than they did an innocent baby and their solution to their fuck up was to bury it so that they could escape the guilt as if that changes the fact that they’re complete assholes that turned their backs on their son so that the narrative can once again become extremely anti council because if the “nicest” councillors can be so cruel then what else are the council capable of when they aren’t busy fooling the people with their charming, charismatic, fake kind personas and gethen gets an actual backstory and a reason why he hates the council and sophie sympathizes with him because she knows what it’s like but also struggles with the fact that she’s biologically related to a neverseen member and the narrative once again treats the neverseen with an appropriate amount of understanding and sympathy instead of making them seem like complete cartoon villains
