I have to say I have difficulty conceiving of Emma as Scott's "girlfriend," bc narratively & characterizationally, that feels like an insufficient word for the role she plays in his life.

Like, Emma, for me, has always been Scott's mistress, or, during the time Jean was dead, his lover. And like, I kind of mean it so that it has that old-timey vibe, except she's definitely topping/domming him 95% of the time, so like, she's also definitely his Mistress, too.

It's kind of funny because at this point in the narrative, everyone seems awfully chill about Scott's obvious-but-technically-implicit polyamory, and i just...really like that about this era. Scott may only have two hands, but I guess Logan can just put a hand on Scott's flat ass and call it a day.

tbh the best part of krakoa-era x-men is that almost all the ships i like can be shipped concurrently, since polyamory is super chill and fine now

that said, idk how logan has time to sleep, given how many people I want him to be sleeping with.

baby cable/quentin (they've never met but God. the ulcer it would give logan alone makes it something I want to see)

I'm just really enjoying the fact that I no longer have to justify breakups anymore in order to write like, 90% of my non-canon(-yet) ships.
