Official Update | 4.24.17
3 months and 50,000 downloads later, we’d like to sincerely thank all the KS fans and even non-KS fans who played and enjoyed KS: Missing. A few days ago we received a notice via email from Lezhin that Missing was, in fact, a violation of US copyright law (specifically US Copyrights Act article 512(c)(2) as well as Tumblr’s own copyright policies). The links were taken down by Tumblr by request of Lezhin, and now we’ve also formally removed the Mediafire link from access—though not before reaching 50K downloads and being named a top entry: a feat that some of us jokingly predicted but never expected.
Thank you again—thank you, thank you, thank you—to everyone who played and loved the game, and who enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed making it. We’re sorry to the ones who now are incapable of jumping on the KS Missing bandwagon, but it was one hell of a ride from then till now. We hope you look forward to our next upcoming projects, which, we assure you, will be just as, if not more, awesome as KS: Missing was.
Sincerely,
Burning Room Games
