Rain + kunichuuranzai 😌
“Told you.” Was the first thing Kunikida said when both Dazai and Ranpo let out a synchronized groan upon seeing the rain still going strong.
He had insisted on how everyone should get their own umbrella to minimize the risk of someone getting wet, to the point of sounding repetitive to even himself. And yet, though not surprisingly, those two had counted on being helped out instead of heeding his advice. The funniest part? That would come soon enough, a bit after Dazai ended up being the one being actually scolded while Ranpo got away with it.
Because some things never change even after starting dating, and because Chûya was with them too and would never pass up a chance to get on Kunikida’s side. Or to call out Dazai. More so if he could do both if one sitting.
“You should’ve listened to Doppo, duh.”
“Why are you just looking at me? Ranpo didn’t bring one either.” Dazai pouted in an exaggerated manner, as he tended to do in moments like that.
“Why? ‘Cause I’m the most special one, c’mon.” Ranpo added, only half-joking; both at work and with their partners, he was always very much spoiled, and none of them could deny having contributed.
“You’re lucky you’re pretty. Both of you.” Chûya continued, making everyone snort and stopping to reach for not one but two foldable umbrellas from his backpack while Kunikida himself did the same. “If not we wouldn’t have brought extra for you pampered lil’ shits.” Well, Kunikida couldn’t have resisted doing it anyway, but he wasn’t going to add that.
Nor did he have time to do so, since in a matter of seconds Dazai and Ranpo were all over him and Chûya, showering them with praise and some kisses.
“See?” They said, so much in sync the whole thing might as well have been rehearsed. Of course not, those two didn’t need it. “We can always count on you!”

When Dazai looks up and meets his eyes, Kunikida looks away and says, “In your dreams.”
