despite having his beloved around to keep the reigns tight, eddie still found himself wandering. it’s not as if those whores meant anything to him, but a man has needs. his betrothed could only satisfy him so much in regards to said needs either by her instance or eddies. after all, he couldn’t go off and marry some trollop, now could he? no. she had to stay pure, for the sake of their family. anything less would surely come back to haunt them.
so he found himself wandering every now and then; lurking in alleys long after the sun had set and the city began to quiet down and settle into its meager night life. sometimes he would find someone to bring home, but it would be a rare occurrence. as care free as this town seemed, not too many people seemed willing to take the chance of potentially running into a predator.
however, tonight, luck seemed to be on his side; he was ready to turn away and head home when he heard the footfalls of someone else coming up the alley he was in. they weren’t far and eddie slowly crept out from the nook he had wedged himself in.
“darling, “ he crooned out to the figure in front of him as he held his hands out in a show of non aggression. “it’s dangerous to be walking out this late alone. i would be absolutely devastated if anything were to happen to you. here, let me walk you home before some disgusting little rat decides to come sniffing around..”

◊ BUT HE'S PRETENDING TO BE KANRA BC HA
Uh??? Uh. What.
??????
Eren just. Stood there. Cheeks flushed and mouth hanging open. Did that really just happen? Kanra just. KISSED him????
“Uh-- hah-- yeah...” He stammered, voice cracking. Wow. He was definitely in rare form right now. Eren gave a weak, embarrassed smile, glancing over to Kanra, body a little stiffened until he actually managed to relax enough to speak again, normally, this time.
“You won! Hah--”

004 ▷This Devil’s Workday
It was at the start of his movement that Jack knew he needed more than just the willpower and knowledge to lead others in order to truly see a response to his actions. A few weeks at most was ample enough time before he noticed that the police officers of Koi began to keep a closer watch on suspicious activity demonstrated by it’s citizens. Cruisers patrolled the Belladonna district like a quick spreading virus in one’s bloodstream. It wasn’t long before the uprising leader realized he needed a better understanding of the city and those within it’s limits before moving onward with his plans. This judgement lead him to chase a rumor among petty criminals before finally working his way toward a name.
Izaya Orihara ; the true information hub of the city. One that lacked a filter between what was released for the public eye and what wasn’t. Jack rested high hopes in this possible source, if only for the fact that he was nearly impossible to track down. Luckily he had something of a mutual acquaintance that so graciously gave him the information he needed after laying down the charm -- the good ol’ razzle dazzle, as Jack called it. This endearing tactic was actually nothing more than beating the guy halfway to hell until he choked up the information, but so long as it worked, the uprising leader heard no dispute. && Even if he did, well, he’d show his disputer the good ol’ razzle dazzle.
As footsteps neared his destination, Jack ran a hand through his ( well-styled ) hair and straightened his jacket to ensure a good first impression ( like that was even an issue in the first place, ha! ) Upon the knock and a swing of an opening door, he gave a grin to his new acquaintance.
'’Heeey there, kiddo. Listen, I’ve been hearin’ rumors about your little operation here and I just couldn’t help myself exclaim, ‘Damn, I should give this guy my business!’’’ Letting out an airy chuckle, Jack lifted an arm in a half-shrug. ‘’Whattaya say? Let’s talk business.’’
