adding to the jack/claire tracey/kelly parallels: both claire/kelly get upset with jack/tracey for almost suborning perjury, except where jack explains it all away with "No no I wasn't going to put her on the stand dw about it claire" tracey gets almost to the point of asking the question before she freezes up (presumably because she can feel kelly's accusatory eyes on her :p).

Just like. An example of how to raise the stakes of a situation without putting anybody in danger, how to show the kind of power people can have over one another when they care about each other. In s6e1 of l&o, jack is I'm control of the situation the whole time with claire acting as his moral compass (that he up and ignores). In episode 9 of tbj, tracey tries to ignore kelly but can't actually follow through with it, and her presence/opposition to what she's doing is enough to make her stop (bc, let's be honest, tracey could've easily made the wrong decision).

I just think it's cool to not always have one person be the final word.
