Laser Wall Update

Well we’ve all been locked out of theaters for a while, so clearly there will be time to make a few adjustments at home. This week I took all the Laserdiscs off my Walls and out of the 2×4 Kallax shelves in my office and relocated them to the vacant 5×5 Kallax unit in my daughters former room.

Yes you read that right folks! See You CD & Vinyl is hosting a Laserdisc Swap Meet this coming Saturday, August 11th from 12pm-8pm!! To the uninitiated this may seem silly. But for the Laserdisc enthusiast (yes there are many of us) it is quite difficult to stumble upon Laserdiscs. So we have gathered many sellers from all across the Midwest (ex: @exilemainst) to meet for one day here in Urbana, IL and all free of charge, open to the public! We are expecting anywhere from 2-3,000 discs total to be available for sale. And we aren't trying to rip anyone off here either, most discs will be under 5-10 dollars with hundreds of dollar discs! And rest assured, LDs were in production up to about 2002. So almost anything from the beginning of cinema to 2000 is on Laserdisc. Horror, Sci-fi, Comedy, Drama, Documentary, Art House, Foreign Cinema it’s all on Laserdisc! And many sellers will be bringing players to sell for those looking to get into the hobby. We will also have capable hands on deck for those that have players collecting dust that need repair. For the Laserdisc collector, or all you movie buffs this is a rare opportunity to have this much combined knowledge and quantity!
