If i could be with a pleasant company and be able to be with them one whole evening, i wouldn’t sleep with them. How could I let the chance slip by? I’m not, i just prefer sincere and easy going conversation where you can ponder on and get new perspectives. Sex is easy, its just penetrating the body, but to be able to remember the person on how deeply they affected you by your conversation; that would be grand.
After
Your enemies never can hurt you the way loved ones can,
I hate how love turns so quickly into hatred,
When everything you once had with someone suddenly breaks free,
Runs wild into the air,
Spewing your conversations,
Polluting the world with the sickness inside of you,
And covering sickness with the love you shared,
What you had was real,
Fuck,
I mean you told your everything to them,
They were the ones that laughed at everything you said,
Picked you up when you fell,
Told you that you were something when deep inside you felt like nothing,
When nothingness tried to fill the void with depression and anxiety,
They made sure to give you a band aid and a mirror,
To see how strong you are,
There are demons inside of you yet to them you were always an angel,
That person,
Now having passed all of the love you once had,
After the breakup,
The fight of fights,
After that last conversation where you didn’t just hear their last words or hear the phone click,
But a bridge burned that brought you two together,
You used to know their Monday schedule better than your own,
Where they’d stop for food on the way home,
How they always put you first when you needed someone the most,
But so did they,
To love even when you’re broken is like filling a vase with water without flowers hoping something will grow again,
You just need to breathe deep and be patient,
Still like puddles,
Ripple into waves that capsize you,
Make you go under,
And now you can’t remember if you were wrong or if they were,
Why you fought so left and right,
True or false,
When you both said that this is a connection,
We agreed on things,
Now I know we won’t ever again,
I hate how love turns so quickly into hatred;
I wish our last conversation left one piece hanging on our bridge,
I know I’ll never love you the way I used to,
But I never want to forget you,
So hate me,
Fine,
Don’t cry when I leave your memories and dreams,
Because I’m done crying for you,
You don’t deserve my tears or sweat that pools from anxiety,
The fucking hurt in my heart,
You don’t deserve any of it,
I used to want you to be there when I was broken,
You loved and then hated me,
And now,
Hate is going to last longer unless I learn to love longer,
Not anybody,
But myself first.
Last Conversation
As many of you know, my father passed away a couple months ago and I think I’m finally able to open up about the last conversation we had, when he was on his death bed. It occurred right after I had kissed him on the forehead.
Me: I’m so sorry I never did that more often.
Dad: Hello, I’m Sorry I Never Did That More Often, I’m Dad.
And just like that he was gone.
I'm still holding onto our last conversation you asked me if I was home, I sat in the silence the thoughts on my mind as I quietly told you no
The last time
“and with it I have so much in memory of you that is sweet, that I take it all together. “
after so long, Aliyah decided to move on from Isiah and have a conversation. He couldn't commit to anything, so he was not willing to get a job, he was also easily angered, and just did not communicate. It was time to move on and he agreed :)
