it's the geopolitical implications for me. it's that he is good friends with the grand huilo himself. it's that I am scared of what will happen going forward
Slava Ukraini! and good luck to us all
Wow. This video is very well-made and truly brings out my national pride about the sing and dance festival. I was part of it once and let me tell you the emotions were Overwhelming and Unbelievable and just Indescribable and everyone cried. A lot. And not just during the concert.
People sang in the public transport, and after the main concert there were 4 of us from our school’s chorus on the wagon, and we noticed the person who wrote one of the songs sitting in one of the seats, and we sung the song (we were like all sopranos and scared we were doing it off-key or smthg but we didn’t care) and it was completely quiet as we sung. But then, when the song ended, everyone was cheering and the writer of the song was so happy and going “that was my song!” and basically it was emotional and Great!
So, yeah. If you ever want to come to Latvia, it’s best to come during the festival bc it’s so good!
latvians have this drink called 'black balsams' that is super dooper strong and tastes a bit like blackberry-flavoured gasoline
