Or planning to read this weekend?? - Is it just me, or is October the BEST time to read intense books?? I love a good read that is full of tension any time of the year, but around this time of year is the best! I recently read Lauren Oliver’s newest book, *Broken Things*, and it was full of mystery and suspense, and it was a fantastically intense read. I loved it! ☺️ Have you read any really intense books lately?? - (Many thanks to @epicreads for sending me along a copy of this book! I've had a couple of days off from posting as the prompts were getting a little bit "samey" I'm also quite hungover today from a few too many drinks last night 😰 • 📚Day 18 off #allthebooksfeb is #instalove ...whilst I'm not a fan of this "love at first site" trope, I feel like it was present in the Delirium series. That's not to say it wasn't a good series, and I did enjoy reading it, even if I was a bit disappointed with the ending. It's still a good, thoughtful, beautifully written and character driven series. A mix of romance and dystopian fiction which is pretty dark in places. ✨My May TBR! Even though this month is pretty busy for me, I hope to read these four books. If I end up not reading a few of these books then no big deal! There's always a different time. ✨ On the TBR this month is!: • Evermore by Alyson Noël* • Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann • Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver • Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard* * = Re-reads ✨I'm slowly working my way through re-reading Red Queen. I'm in the slow beginning.
