With someone like Ron Weasley hanging around, is it any wonder that the Brightest Witch of her Age throws herself into books and works herself to the bone? What this girl needs is a boyfriend, one who won’t denigrate her studious nature but temper it. Ron Weasley is not that kind of person, but Harry Potter is. All Lavender has to do is remove the redhead from the picture. It’s mere coincidence that she can’t stop staring at the tall, red-headed member of the Golden Trio.
