Review: Model Model Deep Invisible Part Wig [Laymie]
This is my just under 3 week review on the Model Model Laymie Wig.
Wig Specs:
Brand: Model Model
Name: Laymie
Colour: OM203
Type: Synthetic Lace Front
Price: originally $59.99 but got it half off.
Attachments: 3 combs [one in the back and two on the sides], adjustable straps in the back
*I had my hair cornrowed underneath and didn't use a wig cap. I also didn't have it sewn in. I left it on for about 2-3 days then let my hair breathe the days I wasn't leaving the house.
Review:
I love the colour! It's a workable length; great medium length. I love the layers and the banged layers at the front. I was mostly impressed by how real it looked for being synthetic. It was comfortable for the most part. It felt very secure. It was a decent density, not too much hair but not very thin. It also had some short hairs in the back, which allowed for some realistic ponytail action.
My biggest problem is that its sheds a lot! There wasn't a time when I used a Denmon brush that less than 5 strands came out. Even running my hand through it during the day took out a good 3-5 strands each time. I have hair in my room, in my car, everywhere. Biggest downfall. Also the straps in the back got loose very quickly, after wearing it for about 3-4 days. The comfort level was 50/50. I wore the wig to the side for a side part, so the lace was kind of awkwardly sitting behind my ear. It would rub my ear and was itchy. I'm sure it I wore it with a middle part, I wouldn't have had that problem.
Overall: I love it, it's definitely a go-to every day wig. The colour also makes it cute for every day and not plain. I would purchase another Model Model wig from the Deep Invisible Part line.
Next Review: My next review will be of the Sensationnel Empress Custom Lace Front Wig Straight in T1B/30. It is currently on it's way in the mail.
