one last thing to take care of. nova found some clarity about her love life while trying to beat the sedentary lifestyle she had developed. out with the old bartender and in with the new enemy to lover. she decided to give lewis a key to her apartment, but stay a single girl for now.

nova’s a lovebug at heart but still prioritizing her career (she also gained the workaholic lifestyle) and living her best curious life.

ok next big thing! nova came home with a new title, a new fit and a visit from an old frenemy lewis.

mind you he just called the other day with a rumor about layoffs, implying nova's job was in jeopardy. turns out he was the one fired because he was such a jerk to her and everyone else lol. whatchu gonna do now lewis??

oh. oh i see the plan lewis. the sob story, the reconnecting over childhood memories, the gifts to keep her focused for work and those sad sleepy eyes worked. you can stay lewis. one night.
