I started this batch of sprites some time ago before I got caught up in other art projects, but I finally sat down and finished the last few today.

Had this super bizarre dream where Sky met a giant octorok named King Octorok, and he was a massive environmentalist and hated when Sky cut bushes. In my dream, he kept cutting the bushes cuz cmon, it’s Sky, and he ended up raging at him. But the last bush he cut was from a monster chucking Sky so hard at it that it just died. Anyways super weird dream. I drew it.

Page 2:

Octorok: i am King Octorok and I do not like you destroying these beautiful bushes. Shall I dump you into the sludge below?

Sky: y-you can talk?

Octorok: most monsters began speaking when our god abandoned us… we’ve been nearly hunted to extinction by your humans ever since. I am what’s left of the octoroks. Can you imagine, being abandoned by your goddesses and left at the mercy of monsters?

Page 3:

Octorok: why do you keep cutting bushes??

Sky; i’m NOT! A monster three me at it and it uprooted! I swear!

Octorok; that’s it. Into the goop you go.

Sky: NO!!

(He got gooped 😔)

Octorok: i hope you learned your lesson. I saw you plucking the leaves of the bushes. Don’t lie to me again or else. I like you. What’s your name?

Sky: uh… Link…

Octorok: can I adopt you into my octorok family?

Sky :HUH???

Sky: what would you do if I lied to you again?

Octorok; I’d stick you in the goop for an HOUR

Sky: y’know, mist octoroks would just kill me.

Octorok: but you’re my son. Why would I do that

Sky: um

Wild: where’ve you been?

Sky: I have a dad now.
