I thought they weren't allowing people to stay overnight anymore.

I don’t really think they can stop people? I mean, it’s a public sidewalk. They apparently don’t allow people to bring tents or chairs, but people still just sit on the steps all night. And despite the “no swapping out” policy, which I think is ridiculous because PEOPLE HAVE TO PEE, people have still been trading places with their friends/family members so they can take a break. I think this is generally accepted provided at least one person is there at all times and you’re not trying to buy more than 2 total tickets.

Do you have say… an Amazon wishlist for friends who aren’t in Milwaukee and can’t increase your happiness in person?

That’s very sweet, but I don’t need any gifts. Just having people who will let me vent is very helpful and any kind of response is a little light in my life.

I was complaining to another friend about how all I do is complain, because I’m so unmotivated to do anything else. I feel pretty lucky that, barring any complications, this procedure should “solve” the problem and I can move on with my life.

It certainly gives me perspective and empathy for people who live with unsolvable, chronic illnesses.

did not succeed in finding passport (I may as well just order a new one now)

HOWEVER I did find the keys to leahj's last apartment, the keys that she needed to return to her old landlord and I swore up and down and in all the other directions that I did not have in my possession.

put on too much fragrance this morning

booked night at theWit Hotel for me and commanderrobot when he comes to visit next week (using a gift certificate I got from a lovely and generous pal)
