omg okay so i take a human growth and development class and it’s basically learning about human growth from pregnancy to adolescence
and so we’re learning about pregnancy and fertility methods, and my professor told us that if a person with a uterus ever wants to freeze their eggs because like, they’re getting older or have an illness that might affect their eggs, or in the case where some people can’t get pregnant naturally and have to use ivf, the way the obgyn gets the eggs out of the person is by giving them an anaesthetic, reaching up in their hooha, into their uterus to their fallopian tubes and ovaries and literally squeezes the eggs out
thats what i learned in that class today so!! if anybody you know who has a uterus has to get their eggs removed for any reason thats how theyre doin that
