Where Is Suriname?

 I woke up today and all the spanish pronouns were there in my head and I could conjugate the present tense of ser without any effort. It was just there and that’s the neatest feeling in the world. 

Teeny tiny bit of progress, but a bit that reflects the work I’ve been putting in and that feels really good.

Now, question. I’m using Duolingo for Spanish and French but it’s mostly introduction to words and practice. I’ve also been using Study Spanish for more depth because I think Duolingo falls way short when it comes to all the nitty gritty in regards to grammar and such, but I haven’t found a site like it for French.

Any recs for more in depth learning when it comes to French? I’m looking for lots of detailed information, quizzes if possible, and all well organized so I can make sense of it. If it looks dry and boring, I don’t care, and might actually prefer that. I’m just looking to fill in Duolingo’s deficits. Something very much like Study Spanish would be ideal.

Man, I don't want to be That Annoying Person(TM), but be careful with vosotros! Most Spanish forms don't use it, and I'd even go as far as saying it's possibly only used in Spain. In any case, if you ever need help with something, let me know =)

Always be the annoying person. So does Ustedes get used instead or is it back to the thing where we just drop the pronouns?

good luck with that!! already knowing a latin language before learning another one is super helpful hfjk (and btw im french so if you ever need someone to talk to or anything im here c:)

Thanks! And yeah, I’ve got years of French from Canadian public school that never really translated into me being able to speak French, but I’m finding I retained a whole more more then I though, and that’s making French and Spanish a lot easier. 

It’s also healing my relationship with French. All those years of it in school that I thought were useless made French a little scary for me, but now it’s the comfortable retreat when Spanish is taxing me too much. French as a big cuddly friend, who’d of thunk it? XD

Okay, learning French and Spanish at the same time was a brilliant idea. There’s enough in common that I can make connections across the two (and sometimes with English) that help me remember things. 

Some of it’s ridiculously small stuff, like being able to remember what nosotros and vosotros mean by recalling what vous and nous mean, but still, very helpful.
