Pat Patterson on WWE’s Legends House
Opinion on legends house
"Bull penis."
"Flock o' flamingoes, flock o' flamingoes..."
And for my real answer:
The good parts were REALLY good, and the bad parts were super cringey.
The good:
- Jimmy. I legit can't stop quoting that whole bull dick part. I was goddamn wheezing. (Also because this is the kind of shit I exactly fall for because I, too, have a single brain cell.)
- Roddy and Hacksaw's friendship... That could be a post on its own. They're so sweet and silly together, and I wish we could see what was cut of them just being dorks.
- The LARP bit also sent me. Actually brilliant. And Roddy was getting SO into it!!! Also yanno.. this:
- The commercials they needed to make!! According to Hacksaw when I spoke with him, he claims that Gene wasn't over them winning it till his dying day.
The bad:
- Every forced drama was absolutely unnecessary. Coulda just made it an entire comedy.
- Tony Atlas (bud, your chemistry was NOT working here)
- I'll actually fight someone if Jimmy was forced to talk about his daughter just to have an "everyone sad" scene. He's an incredibly private person, it was completely shocking to me he brought that up. (Also then I had to start crying cuz that's such shit!!! Fuck.)
- Roddy having to be around Pat Paterson. Gross.
Overall - 6.5/10
How do we get WWE to film a new series of legends house, but with a new group of legends like... stone cold, the rock, kurt angle, ted dibiase, big show, triple h, shawn Michaels and teddy long?
Because the original show was hilarious, and another season is well overdue.
I'm watching WWE Legends House..
...and it hurts. It's cheesy as hell, but being able to see Roddy Piper again, in all his cheeky glory, is such a bittersweet experience. I'm always gonna miss that smile. I don't know if I'm ever gonna get used to living in a world without him. RIP.
Re watching Legends House and I’m at the part were they are at the neighbor’s house introducing themselves. Seeing Roddy interact with the kids is just too cute, this show is what made me love him even more....
things i never needed to know about: tony atlas’s foot fetish
