“You know, my dads always told me that senior year would fly by,” Milo remarked from where he lay on Aaron’s bed. “And I think I’m finally starting to believe them. I mean, c’mon, it’s Valentine’s Day now even though it feels like just yesterday we had that senior assembly. Not to mention, that’s just the tip of the iceberg,” the son of Jeremy and Michael continued as his gaze soon flicked to the ceiling, an even mix of shock and disbelief evident on his face while a montage of memories from the year so far played in his mind.
As it was with a grand majority of the tales gathered over the years, Aaron was involved. But unlike them, a major portion also revolved around secrets that needed to remain under lock and key in Milo’s opinion. Such as the feelings he’d realized for his best friend just last year as well as the truth of what had happened at the winter formal back in December. All the same, this chapter in life was proving to be extremely memorable and he was still eternally grateful that he got to share it with Aaron, someone who mattered a great deal in a variety of ways.
