How long will the Bid Day celebration last? I have a discussion from 4:10-5:00pm that Monday! Could I come late? Would I miss a bunch of the celebration?

Of course you can come late! You may miss a bit of it, but after the joint celebration in the HUB, you will spend the rest of the evening with your new sisters. :) You will have plenty of time to celebrate!

Will you girls table at every orientation this summer?

What year do you recommend rushing? A lot of people say don't do it until you're an upperclassman.

It all depends on you! We have tons of members who joined as first years and wouldn’t have had it any other way, because they are able to spend all four of their undergrad years with their sisters. We also have women who joined their second and third years (even their fourth!) and have appreciated the extra time to get a feel of college.

One thing you should keep in mind is, formal recruitment comes only once a year! (During formal recruitment, you meet all six Panhellenic sororities.) Not every sorority does continuous open bidding during the year. (In which you go to the recruitment events for one sorority only!) 

The choice is ultimately up to you, but we believe the more years you have with your sisters, the better! It’s never too late to go throguh, but we definitely recommend going through recruitment as soon as you feel comfortable in order to get a feel of greek life. You wouldn’t want to regret not going through and having to wait a whole other year!
