9: dancing
9th: How does your character feel about dancing? Are they good at it? bad at it? Does their skill color their perceptions of the activity?
@starcunning @treyu @ocarina-of-what for the mentions! --- She danced with all of her lovers at one point or another. Even those who had not become lovers in truth -- who had been mere dalliances, passing flirtations at parties. Even those lovers who had not turned out so kind in the end had once been a breathless, timeless sway to music that sometimes only the two of them could hear. Sho’tase had heard whispers in the Dawnspire as she went about her duties -- whispers of a gala, a ball of some sort that perhaps would take place in the near future. The thought had been enticing. Although Sho’tase did not have much experience or training in the activity herself, all of her partners had always been willing to accommodate -- for which she was always grateful. The thought of one particular paladin asking her to dance stilled her quill. Ink blots fell from still utensil to the parchment below without the woman ever noticing. Light fel eyes were trained on something a mind’s eye away. Maybe he’d ask...but what if he doesn’t? Is it alright to ask him? Or is there some sort of...noble rule, now that I’m no longer free to do what I wish without land attached…? I should ask Velianor... The missive was ruined as Sho’tase daydreamed the day away: about the gentle brush of silks as bodies pressed close, and about one particular man asking her to dance for the rest of the evening.
